Some people need to realize that entertainment is separate from reality.

Most free to play games remind you almost every 15 minutes that playing for free sucks in one way or another. Inventory full? Pay for space. Need a storage chest/locker? Pay for one. And the list just keeps going on and on. Free to play is more like free to be griefed about not paying at every bend. I cannot stand that type of business model. They try to make you feel guilty about not paying every chance they get, and even if you pay for something, there is always another carrot dangling in front of you. I wish this business model would evaporate, but unfortunately they get lots of people to pony up serious cash for in game items.

@WoodenStick Flying a helicopter would be easy with motion controls. Just hold your arms out parallel with the ground and spin as fast as you can to keep the rotor going. I cannot imagine why DICE wouldn't want to adopt something like that.

What the hell would you use in a shooter that has motion controls anyway? Can you imagine standing in front of the Kinect and jogging in place every time you want to move from cover to cover? I don't think there are many M+ games that would benefit from motion controls (that I would play anyway).

@Jestersmiles If MvC 3 were reviewed TODAY, it might have earned a 6. Games are reviewed against the industry standard for the time, not for eternity.

A great looking girl that is lousy in bed and has a terrible attitude problem might work for some people, but the majority of us prefer a mediocre looking girl that is great in bed, and has a great personality. I think the same goes for games. A great looking game that sucks is only like a trophy wife/girlfriend that you show off to your buddies. Now on the other hand, if you can find a great looking girl that is also a hellcat in bed and is great to be around, well then....Yerli wins. Otherwise, Tom has some good points. Being happy in a relationship with a game or a girl has to do with finding an appropriate medium between all of the factors that make one great. Give me gameplay over graphics any day, but I cannot deny that having the best of both worlds is really where it is at.

@slong True, but you also have to consider the affordability of mobile games vs. AAA titles. Especially when you factor in that most people already have a mobile device anyway, and don't need to buy any additional hardware. There isn't as much risk involved when buying a 1-20 dollar game.

@Jestersmiles @ZOD777 So, it got a 7, not a 9.5 or whatever. Makes sense to me. You can praise something without being overly excited about it. I think people try to dissect the scores WAAAY too much. The scores are meant to give basic guidelines and ideas to those that are considering a purchase, not to appease or anger those that already bought it.
