@Patchezs Most of the EULA that you accept before installing has to do with avoiding all liability for almost anything and everything. There is probably even a line in the EULA that states, "You acknowledge that by installing this product, that we can come to your house and stick an unlubricated pole in any orifice that we desire, on any day, at any time."
@RaddaRaddaRadda Yeah, the armor that he wears is like the crappiest heavy armor in the game (iron). It is too bad that you can't smith even crappy armor to be bad azz.
@Compact87 Maybe if you turn around and sell it in several years, but in 10 years time or more, I don't think there will be too many people that would actually want a relic from an old game. It isn't like we are talking about a bronze statue from a well known artist. These things are impulse buys from fans of the series, so I doubt anyone that doesn't buy it now will have an impulse to buy one years later for an inflated price.
Hard to tell from the screens whether it is a TPS or an FPS. I would guess it is a third person shooter. I would play either one. Imagine an FPS Star Wars game that plays like Battlefield 3. That would be awesome. Especially if there were turrets on either side, and lasers flying over your head back and forth, Tie Bombers coming in as a COD style killstreak reward, and who knows what else. Oh the possibilities!
@Shenmue_Jehuty White collar crime vs. blue collar crime. I know, it makes no sense. Although, one requires an act of violence and intimidation, while the other is less ominous. Robbery is a much more serious crime than theft no matter the dollar amounts though. If you hold up a man at gunpoint and all you get is 5 dollars, you would still get much more prison time than if you got caught stealing a 500 dollar watch at a department store.
I wonder how long this siphoning took place, and how big the checks were. I doubt it was 3 or 4 for large sums. It was more likely over the course of a year or more. At least, that would be smarter than trying to justify a few larger checks. Either way, he got caught.
Forget about the delays and/or busy servers. What about even when everything is supposedly fixed? There will still be server maintenance at times, outages, lag, connectivity issues, and worst of all, support will eventually drop altogether. I would rather not buy a game that may only be playable for 3-4 years. I buy games to play them WHEN I WANT, and for as LONG AS I LIKE, not when someone else says I can or cannot regardless of the issue/reason. **** always online DRM.
