@faizanhd The max render distance is pretty shoddy in Far Cry 3. Haven't you noticed srubs and rocks materializing out of thin air as you drive/hang glide? It is still not the optimal card (7970/680).

@RedStar I think it stems more from Crysis 1 being developed solely for PC (and Warhead), while these last two have been developed primarily with consoles in mind. The PC versions get a shinier coat of paint, but the overall experience is just not there.

It seems like Crysis is getting worse all the time. Crysis 1 is probably one of my favorite shooters of all time, but for some reason, Crysis 2 just felt like a generic consolized shooter. Crysis 3 looks like more of the same, only now instead of being a near straight line, it is a jagged line. Big whoop.

Well, at least after you beat the game you don't have to shoot the rakyat anymore just to get into a firefight. I would rather see them fix the AI psychicness when you snipe with a silenced gun or bow. They instantly know where it came from, and that gets really old really fast.

If the PS4 were to be totally backward compatible, and it has a high price point (heck even at WiiU price point), can you imagine the influx of PS3s to the used market? Anyone moving to the next gen would have no reason to keep their old system anymore, and why wouldn't you try to sell it to put a dent in the cost of the PS4? I think that is what PS is trying to avoid. They want to sell off as many current systems as possible before the next one hits shelves, and if there is a huge influx of used systems on Ebay, Amazon, Craigslist, Gamestop, etc...they would never get rid of all the new PS3s. I also have a feeling that Last of Us has been pushed back intentionally in order to move some of those systems that are still on shelves. Lots of 360s sold with Halo4 coming out, and I think Sony is hoping for something similar.

Honestly, it doesn't matter as much to me since I skipped this gen in favor of PC gaming, and will be skipping next gen consoles too. Can you really blame PS4 for not being backward compatible if it isn't? It is actually a smarter business move despite what everyone thinks about it.

I personally think collectors editions are a waste of money. I collected about 2000 dollars worth of Star Wars figures back in the late 90s and early 00s, but that is because of how many people have the desire to own them, myself included. I just don't see a big market for extra maps, concept art, story boards, and cheap plastic statues. It seems like most of the novelty of these items wears off when the next big game comes out anyway, especially a sequel to that specific collector's edition.

Besides, most hardcore collectors want things that are unopened. Most would rather not buy your Skyrim statue that has been sitting out for 2 years, or your discs with fingerprints on them, but might gladly buy an unopened edition from you. The whole point of owning a collector's edition for someone like me, would be to buy both the regular edition to play, and the collector's edition to sit unopened to possibly sell later. Everything is always more valuable when unopened when it comes to collectibles.

Most sane people wouldn't buy 2 copies of the game anyway, so unless you just think the extra stuff is that neat, I don't think it warrants the extra money if there is no extra in game content.

Original Xbox? And this is just now coming to the surface as a cancelled game? Too bad, because Masters of Teras Kasi was one of my favorite PS1 games. Oh well.

Hmm, looks like it is going to be another DC Universe Online type game.

@Leeric420 @unreal101 You can pay networks to advertise your commercials, and you can blast the public with the knowledge of your product, but you cannot force a critic to like your product. Do you think chefs pay food critics for michelin stars? Do you think big movie companies pay critics for 4 star reviews? If this were true, you would see many more 4 star rated movies, restaurants with michelin stars, and yes video games with 10 scores. It just doesn't happen as much as you are making it out to be. I am not suggesting that it never happens, but I think it is much less rampant than you are suggesting.

Danny is pretty funny. I like some of the random stuff he says. "Shoot you in the face! Ohh, that's pretty messed up. Man, video games are violent." LOL!!

This game was a computer crippler in it's day. Sorta like how Crysis was (and still is for some). Good times.
