There is a difference between preferring that a console is able to play used games, and not gaming at all. But if there is no other alternative, and all consoles become incapable of playing used games, I am pretty certain that those 60% would still buy one or the other. The only alternative (*AAA titles) would be PC gaming which has a pretty dead used market anyways.
@dagamer667 I completely agree. Microtransactions can be completely ignored, but what cannot be ignored are some of the terrible sequences, most notably the climbing and rappelling. The addition of the crouch button gets used maybe 3-4 times throughout the whole 20 hours. Hit detection and collisions on the edges of things can be pretty annoying. And why the hell should you have to complete the game in order to play classic mode? Blah. DS1>DS2>DS3
I have gone a little over half way through the game and to me it doesn't feel like it is all that different than DS2. Aside from the ability to crouch, roll, and craft weapons, the single player experience isn't that much different. Sure at times there are sequences that are a bit more action oriented, but for the most part it feels like the other Dead Space games. Maybe it has been too long since I beat DS1 and DS2, but it other than the stupid rappelling sequences, I haven't had much issue with the game thus far.
@Glitchedfix I never said anything about my internet connection. I was merely defending those that Keystroke was bashing. Besides, not everyone feels the need to play competitive multiplayer. There are plenty of people that would rather play single player games and not deal with pretentious players like yourself.
I have a bunch of fire rate/clip/reload circuits on the upper, and mostly damage and fire rate on the bottom tool. It is a pretty handy all purpose weapon. Rapid up top, slow but powerful on bottom.
@ollirg Good to know. I would definitely have to pass on the game in light of that news. I would hate to have my city running flawlessly only to have neighboring cities foul up everything. Seems like a pretty awful oversight.
@KeyStroke I only edited the comment because I just read that there would be trading allowed with other players resources, but at it's core is still a single player game.
That doesn't change the fact that YOU are the hypocrite for complaining about other people complaining. Trying to change the subject doesn't work, and neither does poisoning the well.
