Zeldaguy16 Blog

Have safe and Happy Holidays Everyone!

Alright, so first, I'll just update you on some stuff from last week. After writing my last blog last Monday, throughout the whole week, I didn't have a lot of school work, and I have this next week off, and two days of next week as well. But anyways, Thursday came, and I had a dilemma.

SO I'm in a fantasy football league with 9 other guys from my school, who are my friends of course, and we put in $10 each so at the end of the year the pot is $100. (We don't split it up, 1st place gets all of it.) So for the 3 years it's been running, I've been in the Championship game every season. THe first season, I lost to the commish. Last season, we played again and I beat him. THis season, this week, I played him again. (It's funny, cause it seems like all the other guys are clue-less abotu Fantasy Football.) So Thursday comes, and I have to choose, who do I start, Bewn Roethisberger, who's been getting it done fantasy-wise lately, or Derek Anderson who threw 5 TD's against Cincinnati earlier this week. So I post all over Yahoo!'s "Who do I start," forum, and everyone says Big Ben, Big Ben!!! But I just have this little "iffy," feeling abotu him sometimes, but I start him anyways! And he did great! Anyways, here's the score:

Now don't get on my case just yet. I know, I don't have the best RB's, but my WR's have been getting it done for me all year. I'm the team on the left by the way. But anyways, Maroney had a great game against Miami, and I won. Plus, I got my kicker starting tonight, even though I won. So in this league, I've been in the Super Bowl/Championship every year (3 years) and I've won it twice. Oh, and by the way, if you look at the bottom, it'll say the other scores. Going in to the playoffs, I was the last guy to get in, which was the 4 seed. I had to play the 1 seed guy, who's team name is "Jensen willwin," and I actually beat him. He had Tom Brady, LaDanian Tomlinson, and some other great playoers, but that was the week when like none of his guys did good. But yeah, that's that, and I'm looking forward to the money I won!! PS: I don't know what I'll spend it on, I'll probably just save it.

Now, onto the Holidays. THis past weekend, I had family over from Madison, Wisconsin. (Yeah they're Badger fans:D) So my cousin brought over Madden 08, and NCAA March Madness 08. Also Tiger Woods 08, but we didn't play it. So we played A LOT of Madden. In one we played 16 hours of it! I didn't play it before then (I had other stuff going on) and I really like the weapons system. I seem to like "speed, power RB, and spectacular catch WR's." It's a cool game, and I like it. Now, onto March Madness 08. So this year, EA Sports really focused their attention into "post-play." I like the idea where you can a lot of cool moves with the big men, like the up and under, which is really nifty, and works every time. Next, I like the recruiting. I like the recruiting system and it's fun. I could see myself playing NCAA 08 for a long time. But I just gotta say, I love College Football. NCAA Football 08 has given me so much replay value it's amazing. Oh, by the way, Boise State lost to East Carolina last night 41-38 on East Carolina's winning FG with 4 seconds to go. Great Job Pirates. Here's a picture of the celebration.

Jags DB David Garrad must be happy to see his Alma Mater win a great game.

Next, Kobe Bryant became the yuongest NBA player to score 20,000 points. Kobe got the record against the Knicks in Madison Square Garden. He had 39 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists in the game. Here are some pictures:

Anyways, that sums up my blog for today! I'll most likely have another blog Wednesday, updating my holidays!

Bye bye!!!

Ok, wow. My head is SPINNING. So much to talk about.

First off, wow. I just got done watching the movie "Fight Club," and boy did it make me think. The whole movie is pretty violent, but it's also deep with emotion and philosophy. The plot is so crazy and messed up, but it kept me interested. I don't even know how to categorize it, action, drama, or romance would fit in all. Anyways let's move on to sports.

So much happened in sports this week! First off, the Mitchell Report. Ok, Barry Bonds was on the list, no surprise to me. Next, Roger Clemens, first off, I just gotta say, the YANKEES ARE DUMB. They signed them for that HUGE contract last year, and HE SUCKED!! HE SUCKS, Johan Santana of the twins (well, for today:P) is SO MUCH better. I don't care about all the records Clemen's has, he still SUCKS. Plus, I mean come on, you just gotta laugh at the Yanks for signing him to that big 'ol contract, and then watching the Rocket not produce. I laugh at how stupid the Yanks' front office is. Next, Miguel Tejada. Alright, this guy, I didn't really expect, but then again, didn't really care. Andy Petite. Alright, he used in for 2 days in 2002, which was before MLB banned it. Ok, it might not be right, but legally, it wasn't wrong. So what do you have on him?

Also, Miguel Tejada is now on the Houston Astros, after the Orioles traded him to Houston for 5 players. Plus, Jim Edmonds is now a member of the San Diego Padres, after coming from St. Louis.

Now to college sports. As of today, Rich Rodriguez is now the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines' football team. He left West Virginia only 48 hourds after meeting with Michigan officials. Also, I just gotta say, I'm sick of all this Ohio State crap. I hate Ohio State so much. First of all, last year in both the NCAA Men's Basketball and Football National Championships, everyone said that OSU would win. But, they didn't. They sucked. Greg Oden, over-rated. (That's right, I said it, just like how Call of Duty 4 OWNED Halo 3, which sucked too.) So this year, they're not gonna win either. LSU is too fast, and too strong. The ONLY person I like at Ohio State is their Linebacker James Leronidas, who is from an area high school here in Minnesota. So yeah.

Next, tommorow the Vikings play the Packers on Monday Night Football. I personally believe that the Vikings CAN make the playoffs, and most likely will.

Finally, I just downloaded Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar today, just for the heck of it. It was ok, and oculd keep me interested, but I'm a true FPS guy, and I'll always stay true to my heart.

Last but not least, today was my birthday. On the morning of December 16th, 1991, at 11:11 AM, I was born in Clinton, Maryland. I got all clothes, and I didn't expect or want any games. I am sastisfied with the games I am currently playing (Call of Duty 4 mostly) and I'll be fine with them. CoD4's multiplayer is going to keep me coming back for awhile as I can tell, because after playing CoD2's Multiplayer on PC for over 2 years, I know CoD4's Multiplayer will keep me coming back. In fact, the only electronic I put on my Christmas List was The Bourne Ultimatum, which I believe is like the best movie ever, along with Fight Club. (which I saw today and was awesome) I really like The Bourne Ultimatum though because a lot of the fight scenes I believe look/act pretty realistic. Possibly the most realistic I have ever seen.

That's all though, and I'll probably update you sometime during the week.

Weekly Update

So, I'm guessing you're all wondering how I did this past weekend at Minnesota's Policy State Debate Tournament? Probably not, but like I said in my previous blog, I'd state how I did. As it turns out, my partner and I got into the finals of 16 teams, but we unfortunately lost to the eventual state champ. We were they 11th seed, and they were they 6th, our coach told us. I'm pretty happy though, as I got a trophy, and this was my first year of a new debate style. So overall, I'm pleased.

Now, for my weekly update. On Monday, I had my first energy drink ever! I know, a little random, but it was kind of cool for me. :) I had "Amp Over-drive," which is the Mountain Dew Amp, but like Cherry/Red version. Plus I had a Mountain Dew Game Fuel, which isn't an energy drink, but I got the limited edition which came in a Halo 3 bottle, and is pretty cool. Maybe I'll post a picture of it or something, I don't know. But also Monday, I watched a very competitive Monday Night Football game, in which the New England Patriots played in Baltimore/ Maryland (woot, go MD! :P) versus the Baltimore Ravens. The Pats came out slow, but eventually won, 27-24. It was a tough loss to the Ravens, but these past two weeks for the Patriots have shown that they arebeatable, and their first lost may come this week against arguably their toughest opponent in the Pittsburgh Steelers.

On Tuesday, I went to the Speech team meeting. It's will be my first time doing Speech, and I'm excited about it, but also nervous, and I don't really know what category I'll be speaking in. I have till next Wednesday to report what category I'll be speaking in to our coach. I didn't really do anything though on Tuesdas, just a boring day.

Wednesday, nothing new.

Today, Thursday. Well nothing new at school, but in the mail, I did get a $25 Gift Certificate to Target from my Aunt an Uncle for my birthday, which is December 16th. It'll be my "Golden," Birthday, as I will be 16. I was born December 16th, 1991, at 11:11 AM in Clinton, Maryland. I don't know what I'll spend my money on, or if I'll save it, so please give me suggestions!!!:)

Oh!! I know what I haven't told you all, I've started a new Trimester at school. Our school doesn't have 4 periods a day, and 4 quarters like most schools in our area. We have 6 periods a day, 55 minutes each, and 3 trimesters a year. Although we did have 4 periods a day, an hour and a half long each, and 4 quarters, but our school district made the dumb decision to switch the schedule. Also, our School District is now seriously thinking about starting school at 8:00 AM next year, rather than 7:25 AM like this year.

Tommorow, I have a Geometry quiz on ratios and proportions, which I hope I'll do well on. I also have a Spanish Vocabulary quiz as well, but most of the words I know so I believe I'll do well on that quiz as well. Currently in English, we're looking at media and how newspapers use text/pictures/formats/price/stories/articles to attract us. It's very interesting, and maybe I'll post more about it.

Anyways, please give me suggestions on what I should spend/save my money on, and I hope you all have a great weekend, bye!!

I might post a blog tommorow, who knows. :)

-Logan

PS: I just remembered, I might spend about $10/11 on the OneRepublic CD "Dreaming Out Loud." I'm liking their music more and more as I listen to it.

Weekly Update [1] Finals, Sports, stuff.

Well, not much in my blog here.

Lately (the last two days) I've had finals. The first day I had 1st, 3rd, and 5th hour finals. (My school does the odd days first, then the evens, don't ask me why.) Plus, instead of starting at 7:25 AM and getting out at 1:55 PM, we started at 8:00 AM and got out at 1 PM. We had an 80 Minutes (hour and 20 minutes) to take each final, and lunch somewhere in between. Yesterday, was pretty hard. I had AP World History, Band (this wasn't hard though actually) and English. English was the most surprising to me though, as we had 100 Vocab words to know, and some pretty tough grammar things to know.

Today, was a little easier. 2nd Hour, which is Accelerated Geometry was EXTREMELY easy. 4th hour, Spanish, we didn't have a final, we only had to make a poster and talk about spanish buildings on our poster. Then 6th hour, biology, was my hardest final, after AP World History, it was all abotu the stuff we had learned this first trimester, but I did have my notebook and study guide which made it a little easier.

Other than that I haven't really done anything this week. I've downloaded some songs, and I have one in particular I like. It's called "Apologize," by OneRepublic (No space) but I also like the remix, featuring Timbaland. Oh, tommorow, we have the day off, and we start our next trimester on Monday. I have Debate State Novice Tournament tomorrow and Saturday, so I won't be on much except for Sunday. Ohhhhhh, I know.

This week, Monday to be specific, Washington Redskin's Cornerback Sean Taylor died in the hospital. He had four interceptions on the season, and was a dominant force in their secondary. Also in sports, I'm doing quite well in both my Fantasy Football League, and Fantasy Basketball League, and I am in second place in both leagues. They are on Yahoo, if you're wondering. Plus, the ACC/Big Ten Challenge has been going on this week in Men's College Basketball, and let me say this, THE ACC HAS KILLED THE BIG TEN! Being from Maryland, but now living in Minnesota, I watched Maryland play a pretty sloppy game against Illinois yesterday, although they did win, their Point Guard Grevis Vasquez, who is from Caracas, Venezuela, didn't shoot the ball too well. But fortunately, their other guard, Eric Hayes, had 18 points and shot the ball pretty well. Some of Maryland's freshmen also played well. Now, one last thing regarding sports, I hope the Packers win tonight in Dallas. I predicting it to be pretty close, but I think the Packers will take advantage of the lost opportunities that Dallas will make. I'm guessing it'll be 24-20, Packers on top.

Now, I've been thinking about getting EA's skate lately for my 360. I've been happy with Call of Duty 4 and Assassin's Creed but Skate just looks kind of fun. I did rent Halo 3 lately though, for the second time, and although I like it, I stil like Call of Duty 4 better. Oh, and on Monday, a friend at school asked me "Does Assassin's Creed have Multiplayer?" All I did was laugh, and say no obviously, but I really liked the thought. It could be like a Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and CTF-like multiplayer, with just Assassin's running around and killing each other.

Well, gotta go eat dinner now. So I'll probably post another blog SUnday, regarding how I did in my debate tourny, and other stuff.

PS: 1984 has gotten really good. :D

Bye-Bye!

1984 (The Book) and other things....

So yesterday, I went to the library. I checked out/rented 1984 and Animal Farm, both written by the English Author George Orwell. Although I haven't started reading the novel and novella, they seem quite interesting. Orwell himself, was always criticizing Totalitarianism, specifically Stalin's society, also known as Stalinism. He once said "Every line of serious work I have written down since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against Totalitarianism and for democratic socialism, as I understand it," in 1946. Dead four years later, on the day of January 21, 1950. Dying young at the age of 46, he had an impact on many people, including two famous Western Philosophers of the 20th century, Noam Chomsky, and Albert Camus. He also had an impact on famous author Kurt Vonnegut, author of Slaughterhouse Five. Most people find his writing to be amazing. For example, in Orwell's Animal Farm, all of the animals and characters represent something. Although simple in form and content, it's complex how he symbolizes these animals. He wasn't just "another great writer." He had an impact on how we see things in the world today, and in his writing, it's almost philosophical how he describes things. He is by far, one of the greatest writers of all time, and if not, the most influential writers of all time.

Moving on, today was probably most interesting and shocking this year. In my 1st hour, AP World History, we continued our video on Islam. Although still confused at why some Muslims fight in the name of "Allah," (God) the religion of Islam is considerably deep. Then 2nd hour, Accel. Geometry/Algebra II, we just took notes and got our assignment. Then, we had a whole school assembly, but I'm writing about that and our guest speaker tomorrow. Then we did nothing in 3rd hour, Band, cause the assembly caused most of the period/hour to go by. 4th hour, Spanish/Espanol II, was just learning about Saber/Conocer, both verbs meaning "to know," and how and when to use them. 5th hour, English, edited our essays, and yeah. Then 6th hour, Biology, was just donig a regular lab.

Anyways, I'm super tired from school, and I'm just gonig to get started on 1984.

Bye-bye.

:)

Gah....

Hmmmm....what to say. I'm tired. Not bored though, as boredom was the main role of why I wrote my last blog.

Basically, to sum it up.........

I'M SUPER TIRED. 4 Hours of Non-stop Gameplay of Call of Duty 4 Multiplayer from 11PM Friday to 3AM Saturday wears you out. Yes, some of you may have played longer and may have stayed awake or whatever, so you beat me there. But my point is this. Call of Duty 4 is BETTER than Halo 3's Multiplayer. (Yes, I said it.) It offers, more weapons, more variety, classes, create-a-class, perks, and cool and engaging maps. I will admit, the whole Halo series' SP has been better, but if you're like me at all, I mostly buy games just for Multiplayer. :)That's right, I basically buy games for the multiplayer. I LOVE MP games. They're the best. Gears, CoD4, CoD2, TF2, and others are just a few excellent ones out there at the moment. I just can't say enough about Call of Duty 4 though, it's by far, the best game I've ever played.

Now, onto something different. Not much to talk about here.....Hmm...well I got some new shirts today (Button Down/Dress Shirts at Old Navy. [Hey, they were cheap and good looking]) Oh, I have something. In English Class with my debate coach (he taught in Japan, he's 25, and he used to play Unreal Tourny [too busy now for games he says:(] and he's cool.) we're writing an essay on the book The Lord of The Flies, which is quite a good book. Plus, in my AP World History Class, we've been talking about World Religions, which has been quite fascinating. Aside from Christianity (which I already know about because I'm Catholic.) the other world Religions are quite complex. We've studied Hinduism, Daoism (also known as Taoism to some.) Hinduism, Judaism, and next week Islam. (Which I'm really looking forward to after seeing The Kingdom when it first came out)

Oh! I know something I can write about. The Departed was on HBO tonight. Although viewing it two (2 [just a pet-peeve of mine to put the actual number behind the number's text]) times previously, I found the movie quite disturbing this time around. Watching it next to a crackling fire in our family's fire-place, I focused on the Psychological mindsets of the characters. Leonardo DiCaprio's character William Costigan Jr. seemed to REALLY lose "it," at the end. "It," referring to his psychological conscience, meaning he started to think about how he got into this Mob, what was going on at the moment, and all the things he had viewed. IE: Murders, Drug Deals, etc. So then...it made me think of this....

MAFIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man, I've never played this game, but it realyl started to make me think. I've heard great things about it, and recently I had seen the trailer for the sequel. It made me wonder, "Should I start playing games for the Single Player?" I mean yeah, there are games where you just GOTTA play the single player.(ie: Oblivion, Half Life 2, HL2: Ep. 1+2, Halo [although it's MP isn't as good as CoD4's:P] etc.) So then, that lead me....

To Make this blog. So yes, I made this blog to express what was going on in my brain/cranium tonight. It may seem a little weird at first, but don't worry, all blog's have side affects, either being postive, negative, or neither.

Is your head kinda going around in circles now:! Did it make you think:question:

Good, that's what I was going for.;)

What to do, what to do.......

Today was BORING. I mean, BORING. Hmm, let's see. Let me go through my schedule hour by hour. 1st hour (AP World History) -> Our teacher went over the homework about Hinduism and Buddhism, interesting subjects, but boring when listening to a lecture.:) 2nd hour (Accelerated Math) Had a quiz, got 12/12, even more BORING. 3rd Hour (Band) Played some marching songs, went onto Auditorium Stage to do Soulja Boy Dance for Indoor Marching Band Concert. Kind of Fun, Actually. :D 4th Hour (Spanish 2) Went over our test on reflexive verbs and various things. Got 62/65. Then went over Culture Viva (Things about Spanish Culture) in our textbook. BORING.:! 5th Hour (English with my teacher who is also my debate coach) Presented our group's Utopia Project dealing with the book "The Lord of the Flies."

So what should I do tonight?

  1. Play Call of Duty 2 (Pc of course) online for hours on end
  2. GO get the Orange box and be a spy and secretly kill people, or be the sniper and kill from afar
  3. Talk to Jerry (Author_Jerry here on GS) for the whole night because he's awesome and lives just down the block from me in Ohio. (Although I live in Minnesota, Ohio isn't all that far.)
  4. Write, about anything.
  5. Watch Assassin's Creed videos cause they're very awesome and Altari just pwns everyone.
  6. Play Halo 3 on XBL.
  7. Watch Boston Legal on ABC at 9 PM US Central Time.
  8. Or do nothing.

As the reader of my blog, you get to decide.

So hurry, make up your mind:!

Back to Gamespot

After periodically coming back to Gamespot from time to time looking for game coverage, I've decided to revive my blog and give it a new life.

First, I'll just say why I haven't been on Gamespot. I've been busy. In fact, terribly busy. First I have school 5 days a week, a lot of homework being in advanced placement classes, and then, to top that off, I'm practically gone every Saturday for Debate. Yes, Debate. Wanna know why I like it? I like to argue, get into people's faces, make them angry due to good arguments I make, and then have them admit that I win. Although they don't just say "You win," you have to think of good questions that will put them on the spot, and then just barrage them with questions. Eventually, your opponent will have to answer the questions, because if they don't, they must agree with you. So it's very fun.:D The topic for Debate is "Whether the United States Federal Government should help Sub-Saharan Africa's Public Heath System." So one time, when we (My partner and I) were Negative (Saying we shouldn't help) went against a team that said we should help Africa's water problem, cause people are fighting over clean water, the water is dirty, and water-borne diseases. So we, as the negative, argued that their plan to help Africa's water problem wasn't going through all branches of the United States Government. See, they had NO EVIDENCE, stating their plan would go through the Judicial Branch of the United States Federal Government. :) Although it's a kind of dumb argument in common sense, we won the debate cause they couldn't prove it was going though all of the USFG.

As for gaming, I haven't done a lot of it since school started, but I do play on occasion. Recently, I played the Call of Duty 4: MW demo and I loved it! I LOVE Call of Duty. On the weekends when I do have time, I play Call of Duty 2 all the time. I'm so excited for CoD4: MW. But just yesterday, I took a look at Team Fortress 2, included in The Orange Box, and Assassin's Creed. Now first off, I'm just going to say, Assassin's Creed LOOKS AMAZING. Visually, everyone can see it looks good, but the Gameplay looks like nothing I've ever seen. The videos I've seen from IGN and Gametrailers are just amazing. I love the fact that you can basically climb any structure in the 3 cities Altair travels to. Now on the other hand, Team Fortress 2 just looks plain fun. I've seen so many videos of the Spy, Soldier, Heavy, and Sniper, and I just gotta say that the classes look well balanced, and every class looks fun. For me, I would probably be the spy, cause I like to go stealth and do "Assassin like moves," with the knife, but I may like to be the Sniper just cause I like to kill people from a distance. But once I get The Orange Box, I'll try out all the classes in TF2 and just stick with whatever I'm best at.

Wow, what a blog. I never knew I could say so much into one box.:o Every day/every night, I'll try to keep up with everyone's blogs, and I'll post a ne blog whenever I can. So long, and I hope to see you around!

Yep, I'm back.

So, How have I been? How have you been? Well, I'll talk about where I left off. I left off with some big things coming up which have already happened. So I'll just start out with this...

My Gaming Life

About a month ago, I barely had time for video games. Due to being on my school's Tennis team, I haven't had much time to come home, do homework and then go play some games. And on the days where I had time to go online and pjut some bullets into some character's brain, I've jsut been too tired to do so. SO recently, I've gotten back into gaming. PC Gaming. In fact, I rarely play console games, only when going over to a friend's house. So what am I playing? Well I did get Oblivion to worked, awhile ago, and it's been very fun. But a Easeast, a friend of mine, gave me a recommendation to buy Half Life 2. Of course I was at Bestbuy, and there it was, and about a half an hour later, I was amazed. I knew it came with Counter Strike: Source, but what I didn't know was how much fun it was going to be. I love the rush, so fast paced and even though I got OWNED, which I'll be honest, I did, it was still VERY fun. So that is currently my gaming life.

Oh, and one thing I'm really looking forward too is Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Although I'm kind of skeptical, will it just be another Battlefield 2 or any other Modern Shooter? Or will it be CALL OF DUTY? Will it have Call of Duty's good performance for fairly low requirements? Will it feel like Call of Duty and be a signature Call of Duty game? Well folks, we'll just have to wait and see.

My Surprisingly Interesting Personal Life:o

Where should I start with this? Well I don't really remember what I've done recently in these past few days, so I'll just start out by listing what I did today.

Well last weekend was obviously Mother's Day. So what did our family do? (Or at least me) Well here was my Saturday, I had been bored of watching TV and I was really getting bored quickly so what did I do? I called up some friends. I eventually called my best friend, who recently just moved only 2 houses away from me, and we went to go see Spider Man 3. And wow. It was fairly funny, and very good. I won't give anything away, and I won't do a blog review for it, but for those of you who have or haven't seen it.

I loved the Emo part, it was hilarious. In fact I recently was on the forums and saw a sig of Peter Parker in SP3 first go Emo where he messes his hair up when he;s looking into that mirror. But here is what's cool...So after the movie, me and my friend see 3 of our other friends inside the theatre when we're exiting, then when we're in the LOBBY of the theatre we see 3 of our OTHER friends. So eventually we go to another one of my friend's houses and have a Super Smash Bros. Melee/Rock Fest/South Park Marathon/DVD and Movie Film Festival all in my friend's basement till 11:00 the next morning, and we all stayed up till 11:00 the next day, which was Mother's Day. Note: The Movie ended around 9:30 PM that Saturday Night. SO yah we had 8 people sleeping on 3 couches and on hte floor, it was fun. That's about the best word to describe it, FUN.

Now I'll tell you about today. Wellokay, so about 8 years ago, when our family first moved to Minnesota I had to go to a different school than I was suppose to go to due to Daycare before/after school. Back to today, I only went to that school for 1 year, so today guess what happens?? I meet/see 3 people from1st grade from the school I went to only for one year. And tommorow I figure I'll be seeing some more of those people. But anyways, I can't believe they still remember me. All 3 of them remembered me and have changed so much. Of course, it WAS FIRST GRADE. But wow it's been such a day I think I'll just stop here and go down my homework.

Have a good night,

-Logan :)

TUBBY SMITH TO MINNESOTA, New Banner, Uploading Video(s) help, and other things.

Wow. Did anyone else here that one of the most achieved and ambitious coaches, Orlando "Tubby" Smith has become the new Gopher Basketbvall Coach? This is amazing to our basketball program! Our last NCAA Men's Tournament win was in 1997! Tubby Smith, wow, I'm just amazed that he'd come to Minnesota. Finally Minnesota can be a powerhouse. He'll bring in great recruits and boost Minnesota high school stars to stay in Minnesota and to be Gohpers. This is great for our program. Also Tubby Smith's hometown is Scotland, Maryland only about an hour from where I was born and raised! This is a huge achievement for our basketball team.

As some of you can see, I also have a new banner. My friend Rohver created this banner and I would just like to thank him a third time, this time in this blog. I like the colors and the effect, and I love the placement of all the characters. Now to my video upload problem. I have downloaded some Game Trailers/Gameplay Videos and I'm just wondering this...when I last tried to upload a video, it just stayed at the "2.Upload in Progress." screen. Is this supposed to happen and about how long? I know it depends on the size of the videos but they're all under 50 MB I think and I'm just curious. The screen was there for about 30 minutes until I finally closed the window as of frustration.

Now for my Oblivion Update. As some of you know, I've been having an Oblivion problem. I figured out though that it is not the game. It is just the DVD-Drive, so currently I'm in the process of getting a new DVD-Drive and will be ready to go when it's installed and ready.

That's all for blogging today for me,

I'm too excited Tubby is here!

WOOHOO!!!

GO GOHPERS!!!!

Bye:D
