I certainly think so. As consoles become more powerful and pc-like, multiplats should really see an improvement.

Won't be pullin chicks with this one.
I don't buy used games. That's not the problem I have with publisher greed. My problem is with dlc. When the publisher anounces a dlc weeks if not months before a product comes out then it tells me that they purposely withheld it so they could nickle and dime me later after I've bought an incomplete game for full retail price. Then there's the cost of the dlc itself which is usually absurd. Map packs that cost $10-15 each when users would more than willingly create far better content themselves for free if the tools were made available (L4D for example) is another thing that bugs me. DLC and mods can co-exist though a lot of pubs refuse to let that happen. And then there's the people that say "if you don't like it then don't buy it" or "X amount of dollars isn't expensive, I'll gladly pay that" as my last point in this rant. Such sentiment is the very reason why publishers have/can get away with this behavior. If they know people will buy the content despite the cost then they'll raise prices bit by bit, and those transactions do add up considerably over time.
The whole thing about used games and online passes, I can understand though I don't necessarily agree with it. However publishers are greedy. Very greedy. The consumer who's actually willing to pay for their games rather than pirate them should be treated better.
Tis a very fun game however it can be a bit overwhelming and the amount of points it takes to get new weapons is disappointing.
Doesn't cost me $60 a year to play online lol. And these Steam sales are so amazing! Not to mention Valve actually encourages user created content and doesn't charge for DLCs as they believe it's a post purchase service you're due which makes me really respect those guys.
Awesome thread! These sales are holiday shopping at its best. No lines, no hassles, just great deals for yourself and others.
The console of the future will inevitably become a pc. That fact is already apparent with the inclusion of web browsers, applications for certain websites, voice/video chat, and a slew of other features on consoles that have been on the pc for years.
The flaw of the future console (an obviously short-sighted opinion as I can't predict what the future will hold) is that they are in essence going to be budget computers for the average consumer that wrap a number of so-so attractions in a well marketed package. However, unlike the pc, they'll lock out much of the user created content and maintain absurd pricing concerning their games and services which are among my biggest qualms with the console manufacturers.
The parts many of us have in our computers at this time will likely beat out the next gen with ease. Hopefully more people will begin to realize that the grass is greener on the other side and nowhere near as expensive or difficult as they think.
Getting somewhat impatient/excited myself but it won't be long. Steam sales are the only holiday shopping I enjoy.
For me it was when a friend of mine did a side by side comparison on Left 4 Dead with the 360 and the PC versions. Blew me away (especially the sound mods lol).
Consoles are still fun and get a lot of nice exclusives however after converting, I doubt I'll buy another console anytime soon.
Know a lot of you started out on the pc, but if there are those with a story to tell go for it.
Lol I like this post ^_^Mass Effect
