That's likely the case. EA did the same thing for BF3, showing off the PC graphics to garner excitement for all the systems.

The Skyrim/Forza bundle is the best route if you absolutely must get a 360. I honestly don't like the idea of buying a console so far into its lifespan, but for the money that's the best deal I've seen.

I certainly hope so but it likely won't be too big of a price cut.

Can't name it but the little skiing game where as a kid that accursed yeti would eat my character at the very end as you're going down the mountain hahaha. That and FFXI while trying to organize a party to help get my Artifact gear/Soboro and after doing so never getting the highest lot on any of the drops. Those were bad days.

Unreal Championship!!! Ghost Recon 2 was pretty sweet as well.

PSO 2 or FFXIV:ARR. Definitely not the popular choices by any means, but I had a lot of fun with the games that preceded them and can't wait for their release.

Getting owned by better/more experienced players is just part of being a gamer. Humility is a great present.

Being a pc gamer means the next gen is just a graphics card away :D. That being said, I sorely hope they get these new consoles out soon because the age of the 360 and PS3 is really starting to show. I have high hopes for the big two and hope they do a lot to advance our increasingly gamer friendly culture without nickle and diming us too hard in the process.

The Ouya is an interesting concept that might turn the gaming world on its head though that's unlikely. If anything I believe the console will be a great entry point for aspiring game developers and give consumers a likely cheaper and simpler platform to invest in. Seems like it won't take up much room either.

Then there's Valve. A company with the right business model stepping into an even larger gaming realm is certainly something to keep an eye on. If Valve can pull this one off and make a sizable dent in the common household gaming market I can't imagine it would be a bad thing. Publishers like EA wouldn't be able to give the lords of Left 4 Dead the cold shoulder without running the risk of alienating one of the biggest distributors of its titles (or at least that's what I hope though I know EA is stubborn and has the financial clout to justify it). And the joys of Steam sales would be known by all lol.

I'm very much ready to see what lies ahead.
