"Could have been bought"? lolwut? That's like saying the US could've bought Greenland or the Panama Canal. If somebody doesn't want to sell something, good luck buying it. Did Munger supposedly think he could just walk in there with a checkbook and have more luck than Microsoft did? There's clickbait and then there's outright lies.
"Winter also called on ratings groups and the industry itself to do a better job helping parents to understand the content of a given game. He pointed to a game in which players can kill, urinate on, and set ablaze a police officer, though it's unclear which title he was referring to."
I wish it were clear since I'd certainly be interested in playing that title.
Pretty much a BS survey considering that the people it reaches are more likely to be casual gamers who use their system for other entertainment. Personally, I've watched a grand total maybe three movies on it as opposed to having logged tens of thousands of hours across fifty or sixty games...
Not sure that the founder of a failed company is the best source to turn to when discussing a company that's remained successful for decades... Otherwise, the Wii basically disproved this notion last gen when it outsold the competition. Nintendo also still has the handheld market corned, with its only conventional competitor not even being in the ball-park.
The fact that the WiiU system is being sold at a loss isn't a sign of anything, as profits are normally made from software rather than hardware in this industry. The Wii was something of an exception.
