While the WiiU is floundering, I have a hard time believing it'll do worse than the already badly panned XBone. A lot of investors also didn't think the original Wii would do well for the same reason, yet it was the big winner last gen in terms of console sales and its software sales for a few key titles dwarfed the competition's. Mario Kart Wii, for instance, sold 34.26 million copies --- more than COD4: MW sold across all consoles.

I'm not sure how it works in your country, but innocent until proven guilty is the standard for any civilized nation. Besides that, Canada's anti-pornography laws can even target the Dragon Ball Z manga so it's hard to take these claims seriously without knowing more.

It's one thing if he was watching videos or looking at photos of abused children, but Canadian law encompasses a lot more than that and can include manga/anime.
@rokmek First off, you don't know what this supposed "child pornography" even entailed so you're acting like a complete moron. Given Canada's previous history, he could have been arrested for owning such "child pornography" as the Dragon Balls or Sailor Moon manga, since both depict partial nudity of a subject purportedly under the age of 18. Or he could have written stories that mention a child under a certain age having sex. Or, *gasp*, drawings of a girl that they think looks a year or two under the age of consent.
Even if he had actual pornography, what good is prison going to do? The guy is born this way, like a homosexual, and should receive counseling instead of prison.

First of all, Canada has the most stringent anti-pornographic laws on the planet where even non-pornographic anime and manga is seen as being illegal porno. For instance, you could be arrested for owning an issue of Dragon Balls (the predecessor to DBZ) because it shows Bulma's bare bottom as a joke. Canada is one of the most intellectually backwards nations on the planet where censorship is king.

The only thing revealed so far is that he was arrested after what the Canadians considered child pornography was on his pc... we don't know anything about what they actually found which, given that it's Canada, could be anything from a written story involving someone who sounds like a minor to drawings of somebody who doesn't look 18 to cartoons to actual pornography involving real-world minors.
Other issue is that this is frigging Canada, so they might have just found his manga and anime collection. Canadian authorities tried to arrest some dude entering the country for having manga on his laptop a few years ago.
