Step by step Kinect looks better. Playing Skyrim and Mass Effect with it was a great experience. Other games, like Haunt did the same. Now Dead Rising 3 starts a new line of gameplay...
Using it with Netflix and search on Bing was awesome with 360. Like a smartphone, I don't know how could I abandon it. Using voice or a simple gesture while doing other things in my room now looks natural. I don't need remote controllers anymore.
"Television is not going to be able to hold on the market for more than six months. People are tired of looking for a wooden box every night. "-Daryl Zanuck, co-founder of 20th Century Fox, shortly after the release of the first TV.
Me too. Just saying that it restricts a kind of experience. Sooner ou later people try something different. As a rule, linear games have shorter life line.
No. It's a way to increase a product value. Multiplayer is a way to bring new experiences, from the way it's played. You play against humans being, that aren't predictable as a rule. Experience renewed.
It's not a critic to The Last of Us. That's a perception that the future is immersion increasing. A lot of people plays Last of Us, Uncharted, God of War etc only once, because the experiance don't change. It's always the same. Time is short and people try something different. Think about the reason for quite every game to come with multiplayer option...
It's still linear. Linearity means different choices with effects in a storyline. In Last of Us, Uncharted etc, if you kill one or two guys, jump, sneak or do something else, the story remains the same.
