Ps vita - no 1st party support, propriety memory, locked out marketplace content, lacks 4 physical buttons which are gamebreaking for most games for remote play. Not enough cross play games

Ps TV - no netflix, no twitch tv, limited remote play support, no surround sound, no 1080p

PS Now - limited subscription library. No jrpgs, no skyrim, dragon age, gta, rdr, gran turismo. No digital purchase options, no surround sound, glitchy sound

PS2, PS1 classics - charging again for same game and not adding backwards compatability

PS Camera only used for streaming.

No external hard drive support

1st party games are mostly hd remasters of previous gen

Controller rubber lose their grip, low battery life, can't turn the glow off

Hardware still incapable of 1080p 60 fps on all games

Only publishing a remote play app for it's own phones and not for other android phones and tablets

No pc remote play

@livedreamplay: that's not true at all. All games are going to be playable on xbox one through BC (except maybe kinect games.) The developers just need to opt in/opt out.

So, in fact they are quite similar.

@mrjoeyyaya: yeah, i guess making the view distance much greater, increasing detail/clutter, significantly improving texture quality and doubling the resolution is a small leap.

I have news for you; 1080p offers more visible difference over 720p than 4k does over 1080p. It's called diminishing returns. Everytime you double the resolution, you need to increase the power by much more than double and it yields significantly less results visually each time you do so...

I llay a game to have fun; I am fine with amazing gameplay. I am fine with masterful crafted, immersive environments to explore -even with standard gameplay and a pedestrian narrative. Not every game has to have high drama and create emotional attachment to be fun.

@Hammershock6: i agree 720p might be fine on a small tv. But, high detailed 720p environments get pretty grainy looking and it's hard to make out targets at a distance. Ie was that jaggy aliasing or did i see something move!?!?!?

@Elranzer: most pc's are not capable of 1080p 60fps and high or ultra settings either. Just rigs of people that continually maintain and upgrade gaming pc's. Which is a relativrly small sample of gamers compared to the console gaming community.
