The Triple threat. It has more drama and potential to be a true WM calibur Main Event than Cena/HHH could ever have, at this juncture. Cena/HHH has no hype, heat, absolutely nothing. The IWC doesn't want to see it, the marks don't want to see it, no one wants to see it.
[QUOTE="_Muta"]I don't blame Spike one bit for this. It's smart business on their part. TNA has failed to produce any real results, while The Ultimate Fighter is one of their hottest shows.AcolyteV1
Never said it was a "monumental flop". The fact is, it didn't produce results that would justify a prime time slot. If that's their reasoning, then i agree with them. It goes beyond what i personally think is better. Ultimate Fighter has been has gotten consistent 2.0's. Impact, as noted by JML, has been getting pathetic upper 0.'s. Facts are facts. Impact has only broken the 1.0 barrier once with little to no viewership increase overall. If there was any major signs of growth, then i'd be calling Spike on this decision right with you. But there isn't. As it stands now, TNA has no future. Evidence has shown that Ultimate Fighter does. I think you misinterpreted what i was saying in that particular sentence. I'm saying that Spike made the right decision to push Ultimate Fighter over TNA, not the right decision to bury TNA with a crappy timeslot.
Geez, ROH is the only promotion not going on a downward spiral.SeriousThreat
I wouldn't be too sure of that, unfortunately. It's make it or break it time once again for that little promotion.
I think it's safe to say that TNA is officially on the road to ruin.

Pros:
Solid roster, despite a few black spots (David Young, A1, Nash, Jarret, Steiner, etc.)
A fine looking commitee of bookers, on paper.
Samoa f***ing Joe.
Decent production values.
Fine Tag Team Division.
Cons:
Jeff Jarret.
In practice, poor booking. I'll gladly attribute that to Jarret & Dixie.
Poor Heavyweight division.
Christian with the World Title.
An overall spotty and almost goofy style that runs all over a good portion of the show. I enjoy spotty matches, but they get boring after a while.
Stupid acquistions.
Much like the WWE, there's hardly any diversity within the roster. Everyone looks the same. Hardly any character development, either.
Crappy entrance themes.
Team Canada. I echo a statement from another forum: "Canada vs. USA is so 1997." Plus, D'amore is boring as f*ck. Keep that fat f**k behind the curtain.
A poor low-middle card overall. Come on, seriously, you can't think of anything better that would appeal to the casual fan other than The James vs. Konnan's homies? How about getting rid of the James brothers once and for all and having Low-Ki and Rocky Romero join Machette and Homicide to form a Rottweilerz-esque stable as soon as they arrive? And having Ki usurp Konnan and become the leader? Just let these guys become a dominant force on the mid-card to build some heat. Maybe even bring in Julius Smokes as their mouthpiece. Have Low-Ki and Homicide become the tag team champs and let Rocky go after the X title after he's properly built up.
No mic workers. In any major promotion in North America, be it Pro-wrestling or Sports Entertainment, you need at least one guy who can work the mic. Daniels is pretty good, but inconsistent. AJ sucks. Joe is passable. Jarret's content and delivery is solid, but not the least bit charismatic. Christian's good, but not a guy that the fans are gonna take seriously, one way or another.
[QUOTE="bulletproofcow"]My favorite: Wrestlemania: XX. Benoit and Eddie winning titles ownes.
How to improve:
1. Take the strap off Cena, give it to RVD.
2. Get CM Punk, Hardy and Benoit involved in MITB. Replace RVD with Carlito.
3. Lodricks vs. Kane and Show
4. JBL and Tanaka get hit by a bus.
5. Women's title new type of match. In order to win, must be stripped of clothes then can be pinned- Trish vs. Mickie vs. Victoria vs. Melina
6. Triple Threat- Orton vs. Angle vs. Rey
7. Undertaker vs. Henry in a Buried Alive match.
8. (Main event) Stone Cold and HBK vs. Rock and Vince (As much as I would hate to have Vince in it)
Yes, number 4 is out there.
BATMAYNE
That wouldn't make any sense to take the belt off Cena and then randomly give it to RVD.
Who doesn't even deserve it to begin with, either.

Sooooo stupid.......
Although on a more interesting note, anyone see the little contradiction here? Didn't the Vince Mcmahon philosophy of pro-wrestling put look and charisma before actual ring work? So what, now ring work all of a sudden is important? I guess the inconsistencies aren't just contained in the writing after all. They shine through Vince's own inconsistent philosophies. But that's all beside the point. The point is, as usual, they're barking up the wrong tree. I'm pretty sure it's the character and the lame ass raps that have turned the fans against Cena than his ring work.
WWEMAN101
To be honest, I don't think thats the case. I just think thta Vince is doing something because a lot of non-online fans have noticed it.
Yes, i know. I was just pointing out the irony. Before, ring work was practically irrelevant. Now it's showing up on radar, even if it's just a dot.
