@dogbert784 I don't believe so. They are trying to force a fundamental change to the way a games console operates. Its either going to fail very badly or be hugely successful, as the changes are based around generating money and not to the benefit of the consumer I believe it will fail. MS should have kept all digital media and some of the other features they have removed, these were beneficial to consumers even if most people could not see it, now all that is left are negative features.
@Axile11 @dogbert784 I doubt they will 180 on the ads, will make them too much money and they will have invested a hell of a lot of money in the development of the tech and building business relatinships with advertisers. Contracts will have been signed and set in stone by now.
@freechain I agree, I am struggling to find a reason to get an Xbox One, Microsoft keep throwing negatives at us all the time. I don't think the exclusives are going to be anywhere near enough to sway me.
@FriendBear @feleas You do realize that's the equivalent of 3 years full time work? You could buy a house for the time you spent fighting orc's and elves..
@Lex_Luthor_XLII Whats making the Xbox One a must have? Right now I am in the PS4 camp simply because Microsoft are giving me reasons to not buy an Xbox. I loved the 360, have about 50000 points and played hundreds of games (Not very high points per game!!) but that does not mean I will buy an XBOne through loyalty. They need to sell me the console and they really have not done this
