Soon there are going to be more bad episodes than good. Somewhere in the past decade the programme just lost all its intelligence and wit. It would take too long to actually name the almost innumerable specific flaws.

Yes? I quite comfortable thinking that when I die my consciousness will cease. Hell is such a staggeringly nasty idea that I think one can be excused for the odd irrational panic attack, though.

A Clockwork Orange is quite possibly my favourite book and film, so I'm pleased you enjoyed it.

Personally I can't stand to read the final chapter. It just feels completely out of character for Alex and the central moral dilemma is too easily solved.

"Nowhere Man" is possibly my favourite beatles song. There are a handful of others I quite like and that's about it. It's sad John Lennon was killed, but I'm not really a fan.

It's obviously a scam. Any religion that charges you money to follow was clearly devised with cynical intent. If you're dim-witted enough to actually believe in xenu, then you probably deserve to be scammed, though :P

I have no desire to learn it. I can't think of many scenarios in my daily life where it would be useful.

Its still a choice to let them mix. See what america has become due to it? I dont want that happening to my country.

And what's so bad about America? There are many countries I'd choose it over, and I doubt you could prove that any decline observed is due to multiculturism.

I think the world wont know the full affect not for a few more decades. The internet has changed the life in the US greatly and has separated the people into factions like nothing before it. You hear pundits and politicians say it all the time, they have never seen such division like this before in the countries history.

I'm not that interested in this argument to be honest. It just seems that he had no hard evidence for a decline across the spectrum in the USA, or any evidence that linked such a decline to increasing multiculturism. In a very inarticulute fashion I suppose I was trying to get him to admit that. It's not really worth pursuing.

the idea of all countries within the EU using one currency is great. its amazing to travel around in one continent and use the same currency wherever you go. what the eu is trying to do, is great.. but there will always be someone who will not cooperate with the others just for the sake of being stubborn. brits are not very loved around europe.escapeoftheape

I have to say that the feeling's mutual :P

It won't happen any time soon. The fallout from the Lisbon Treaty will make it political suicide for a long time, and the tories (who will inevitably be in power after the election) aren't exactly the mostpro-Europe of parties anyway.
