The first is watchable, but nowhere near as clever as it thinks it is. The second's really quite awful and I've never watched the third.

I am sorry that you found my sincere attempt to provide you with some information that might help you to perhaps have a better understanding of God's revelation to humanity, as boring. It was not my intention to bore you. While the Lord loves each of us, don't worry, He is not going to force anyone to believe His truth or accept Him. He gave each of us a free will to chose to accept His plan of eternal salvation in Christ, or reject it. He will be faithful in giving each of us the eternity that we choose. Regardless of how we feel about Him, He still loves us and wants restored fellowship with us.

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Interesting that you should say that, as I could not choose to believe on a whim, any more than you could choose not to. If I can't see belief in a divine creator as rational, I can't believe. Choice never really comes into it.

[QUOTE="rockon1215"] Never seen A Clockwork Orange. I guess I should see it :Prockon1215

Read the book by Anthony Burgess as well, but leave out the abomination that is the 21st chapter.

what's so bad about the 21st chapter?

I should have explained that it's the last chapter of the book, and for some obscure reason Burgess felt the need to go completely against the personality of the central character forcing an ending which is just horrible. You are much better off without it. If I hadn't been warned about how bad it was myself it would have spoilt the book for me.

Scarface. The first time I had seen it and now one of my favourite films. Before that I saw fargo, also for the first time. I did not see what the fuss was about at all. It wasn't bad, being reasonably absorbing and entertaining, but I honestly can't understand why this is deemed a great film. Am I missing something?

[QUOTE="_glatisant_"]It's a brilliant film, but No. 1 is A Clockwork Orange, I couldn't imagine any part of that ilm being improved. It also has to compete with the likes of Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Seven Samurai, Taxi Driver, Dr. Strangelove et cetera. rockon1215

I have a good memory for trivia. It's rubbish at anything remotely useful though.

I don't know anyone who likes Operation Ivy/Rancid. I can certainly see why it wouldn't be to many people's tastes though.

Psychology is certainly interesting, though the actual dealing with people's issues day in and day out could break me. I'd probably end up like Dr. Phil and just shout out them to "wake to yourself and stop doing it!!!!"

I'm a video editor/compositor of TV ads. easy, work from home. Took me a while to get a job that I like doing. (like 16 years!!!!!)

Aren't you thinking of a psychiatrist?

Anyway I want to be a biologist. I can't be more specific than that as I'm still in my last year of secondary school.
