Man, Windows is so bad. Windows 7 is okay, but even still it has some issues. I haven't used Windows 8 but Metro looks pretty useless for a laptop interface.

I prefer using Ubuntu for most of what I do - browsing, listening to music, etc., but for word processing I have no choice but to use Windows. I won't buy Apple because it's too expensive despite the hardware being great, the OS is garbage.

Google Drive. Hell, if you're really addicted to Word then I think Outlook has an online equivalent to Drive, dunno if it's free though. I'd probably never use Windows if I could connect to my university's internet with Ubuntu. I might use it for games if my computer could run any, but even then Steam's starting to up the Linux support.

That's true, I could use OneDrive, but from what I remember last it was still missing some formatting tools that I used often. I was lucky that when I was in Uni I was able to connect to the internet with Ubuntu. In fact, they even had instructions on their site about how to connect to their WIFI with Windows XP-7, OS X, Ubuntu, iOS, Android, Windows Phone.

@Pirate700: I did that when I worked in this large retail store.

I was 16 and didn't give a ****. Looking back I'd still do it, because the manager was a bitch.

Well I mean, I guess I'd understand if you only worked there for a short time and didn't want to use it as a reference. And I even understand if the job sucks and you don't want to give a notice. But otherwise, not even calling and telling them you officially quit just seems silly to me. *shrug*

I agree, it's unprofessional. Though, at the time and considering that job had no bearing on what I'm doing today, I'd still do it lol.

I boxed up my Xbox360 and said "fu" and never looked back.

Still regret getting one instead of a PS3.

I did when I was working in retail. I stopped showing up.

Looking back I think I'd still do the same. That job and those references would have had no effect on where I am today -- but it certainly wasn't professional, but I mean, they don't pay well at retail and treat you like shit, so.

Nintendo is blamed for everything and held to it's own standard of "they didn't do what I wanted so screw Nintendo".

Lose/Lose situation.

@moltenix: That too. Paying $59.99 and barely getting the same deals as the US was already annoying. I'm not willing to pay $80 for a game (Ontario tax included).

Oh God, the irony.

Team America World Police please stop.

There is no way I support what Russia is doing - and Russia is a pretty shitty country for a number of reasons, but I wish America stopped trying to police the world. It's really annoying.

Finally, on a platform where I can pick it up.
