let me comment on your second point, why there are no voices

this quastion was asked to Ryan (from MGS4) and why they are not including english+japanese voices in the game? his answer: we'll have to pay both actors for each game, in fact WE EVEN HAVE TO PAY THEM FOR DEMOS

so there might be voices in the final product, but they cut it here inorder to cut the cost   :)

regarding this game, I liked what the 1up guys said about it in Ryan's blog

one of them said about ppl who said they hope this game dosnt go multiplat, why? and said "get your head out of your asses, we all hope that more ppl do enjoy this masterpiece"

i mean really? unliss u work for Sony, why the hell do you care if it does go or not? I say the more ppl the better

and before you bash on,, i do have a ps3 and will get mgs4 on it

Multiplat games suck....if it does go multiplat.....it won't make a 9 on either system.....Sony's only chance is to keep it exclusive....even though I don't even want to play itcoltonnaslund

and u think the company care what does a website give their game if it went multiplat??

go look at last year top sellers.. it aint Gears, or FF12

it's Madden, and Disneys Cars   yeah   both multiplats,,, and both dont exactly get 9+ in ratings

it's over rated,, in fact it's probably the most over rated game in history...

yes it's a good game, but the media and MS hype it way too much for it's own sake... look at all the top selling games of all time

Mario, does not get as much hype, and guess what it sells more

same goes for GT, GTA and others....

it's not a quastion of will it happen, it's a quastion of when...

they actually showed i think back in TGS that you can,, one of the Sony execs. i think Kaz (sp?) did open the XMB during the F1 demo and sent someone a message to join

Right now it might seem like a big deal that MGS4 is going to the 360 however when teh game is finally released it wont be that big deal at all and heres why... By the time MGS4 is released next year most likely, the PS3 will already have killer titles out. Heavenly Sword,Lair,Killzone,WarHawk,Socom,Ratchet and Clank,Uncharted,Little Big Planet and also such big titles such as Gran Turismo and Final Fantasy will also be on the horizon and also "Home" will be well established by that time.

The bottom line is by the time MGS4 is released it wont even matter  if its multiplat because PS3 will be in A LOT better position by that time. PLUS that E3 of next year we will most likely see new Twisted Metal and God of War in the works and besides that, MGS sold well on the PS3 but games Like Gran Turismo and God of war always sold better than MGS and GT and God of war are true system sellers. Even If MGS4 went to 360, Gran Turismo and God of war 3 are enough reason already to own a 360 not to mention socom.

Right now it might seem like such a huge deal MGS4 is going to 360 but also consider that right now PS3 has no good games out yet. By next year there will be so many good PS3 games people will be like Metal Gear who?

you are forgetting one major thing here.. sony keeps pushing back the release dates like there is no tomorrow... no wander why ppl keeps calling it the waitstation 3

HS and Lair were announced as an april games at first... Motorstorm as suppose to be a launch title... you see where im going here? and lets not talk about 3rd party games here,  RS:V keeps being pushed back tell the game no longer look good, and pretty much all ppl who wanted it already got it on the 360

so unliss sony stops just announcing games and actually releasing them, we cant confirm this

heck, i still say that this E3 Moore will have a MGS4 tattoo,, mark my words.

here is what i think... i still say MGS4 will indeed come to the 360 (and im a sony fanboy, but face it ppl)

the thing is,, do you honestly think MS will announce it now, HELL no, they want to keep it for E3 in order to own the show

im seeing Moore showing a new tattoo saying MGS4 this E3   :D

I really dont c it as game of the year

if you gonna go with what we've seen so far (game that are not releaed) and what should be a GotY,, I'll go with Assasins Creed.

it's the only game that got the gfx and the inovative gameplay to go along with it, now keep in mind this is only from what we've seen, the next 6 months will prove me wrong i'm guessing   :)

and yeah, i'm assuming MGS4 is a 2008 release

i would expect that they'll show how you can side with any army in the battle. cause we all know that there is a war going on and Snake is actually doing his own thing, not on either sides.

so they might have playable demo (or part of the game if you may) where you can see the difference between siding with which side (or fighting both for all that matter)...

I dont think they'll actually show the guns of the patriots (im assuming by the name it means the big guys or the bosses in this game if you may that are used to help the patriots). I have a feeling that Riden is one of them and you'll have to fight him sooner or later....

guess I went off from the subject here, but really anything from MGS4 is cool by me   :)
