I typically don't pre-order most games, because I find it a waste of time. But, I did pre-order Rock Band just because of how scarce I thought it might end up being compared to the normal just disc games. Good luck finding the game, hopefully you can get to a place that has some on hand before people buy them up.

I was wondering if anybody knew if Call of Duty 4 shipped with rumble right out of the box, like Ratchet and Clank, or if they're going to offer it as downloadable at a later time, presumably when the U.S. rumble controllers come out?

Thanks, maybe this news is readily available but I'm too stupid to find it, so I'm relying upon the intelligence of the rest of you to make up for it ;).

I cant imagine them allowing you to download and keep full HD movies on the hard drive though, that would take up a lot of space. I wouldn't want to do it myself, not unless I had a good 500 GB + hard drive or something.

Did you get the new "Kramer" guitar? If so, how does that feel. I'm curious if they made the strum bar and fret buttons feel more like the new Les Paul's or just kept it feeling like the old SGs.

HDMI cables are digital, and digital cables dont degrade based upon the quality of the wires or whatnot. Basically, for the digital signal transferred over HDMI, you either get a picture and sound, or you dont. Any cheap HDMI cables are going to work just as good as the expensive ones. I own one I purchased on Amazon for around $4 myself, and it works fine. Dont be suckered in by Monsters cables...they're a rip-off! If it was a component cable than I could say, yeah, maybe you'd see a difference with a $100 cable compared to $25, theoretically, it could happen. But, not with HDMI.

upscaling just makes normal DVDs look slightly better, not nearly as good as true HD movies, like those on blu-ray.

Yeah, it does suck. It would be nice to be able to use a newer guitar to play the old games. I'm hoping that maybe the original company, Harmonix, can come out with a Strat that works for the older versions. That would be very nice!

Yeah, I would disagree with the complaints too, because I found Warhawk to be tons of fun, but I disliked Resistance with a passion. I never found myself having real fun with that game, online or campaign.

Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 2 and free online, because I'm too cheap to bother paying :)
