8.9 isn't bad when you figure how much this game hasn't changed in the course of its entire existence. It's really just the same Guitar Hero with a new controller and new batch of songs. Though, the new online play is a nicely designed new feature.
I will say, I think overall that the Guitar Hero III setlist might be a tad better (for my tastes), but its 70's tracks are pretty much amazing, so I don't know... http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/830/830709p1.html
Is that an official slogan for PS3. Because, I don't think I've heard it used before, but I really like the "Like No Other" thing. I think they could adapt that as their slogan. Nicely done video, by the way!
I'm personally waiting to pick up Rock Band at launch and putting Guitar Hero away until probably sometime down the road, holidays perhaps. I know buds who are getting it though, so I'll surely be rocking anyways ;)!
I think people who post topics about their PS3s overheating should take pics of their PS3 and the area they keep it in to game with to go along with it. I don't mean to be pointing fingers, I realize every console has faulty hardwear and I'm not directing it to this posting exactly, but sometimes I just wonder if people are putting their PS3s next to their fire place or something because of the way they describe their overheating.
Don't get suckered into buying those $100 Monster cables. They're a waste of money. It's digital, and digital quality doesn't degrade depending on the quality of a cable. By that, i mean, if it works, it works, if it doesn't, it doesn't. You don't have one HDMI cable looking clearer than another.
