What kind of space are you keeping the PS3 in? Because, it truly is a system that demands room and space for air to escape.

Anybody who is trying to compare a game like Crysis to Haze graphically is crazy. It's stupid, because nobody actually thinks Haze is going to look better than Crysis...I hope not anyways, they'd be a fool. For me though, I don't have a good PC, so until I can make some more $$$$$$, Haze is automatically more interesting looking to ME ;) with my PS3.

To get back to the original content of the thread, Phil Harrison didn't really get "owned". They didn't drop backwards compatibility altogether, just in this model. So, they're still offering it to people who want it and offering to not give it to people who don't want it.

I found Resistance to be boring after the first 2, 3 levels. It's extremely repetitive and got old fast in my opnion. Of course, I found Halo to be the same way, so I dunno...I'm a weird one. I think Warhawk is a lot more fun game overall though. But, that's my opinion.

I must be a weird one because I found Resistance's gameplay to be boring, repeptitive and just not fun at all once you got past the first couple of levels, and to go along with it, I actually liked the first Killzone! I think the weapons in Killzone are some of the coolest futuristic weapons ever. I'm a realistic shooter fan though, so Resistance just came off as not being my thing, but I loved the "atmosphere" of the first Killzone, even if the gameplay did have someugly quirks.

I think this statement is outragious, seeing as though there are far more 360's on the market compared to PS3s. I think it'll definitely sell more on 360. However, if you were to argue that the PS3 version might sell a higher percentage per console than the 360 I maybe could see your point. Like, say, 80% of all PS3 owners in the U.S. will buy this game compared to 60% of 360 owners, for example. That argument I maybe could see more likely with your judgment.

They're not going to shut down the servers; this game is huge and the thought of shutting it down is outragious.

The one thing I find interesting is that I didn't know they were discontinuing the $60 with headset version of the game. I heard they were introducing the $40 version without the headset in stores, but I was under the impression that they were just going to have 2 versions available to buy. So, is it really true that the $60 version with bluetooth is really gone?

I guess I'm glad I got mine already than.

I was just going to post what Sage put up. Personally, I'm getting Rock Band because I just think it will be more fun, overall. But, it depends on your style. My friends are really into playing all of the difficult metal songs on 2 and getting amazing scores and stuff so they're more excited about GH:III. I, on the other hand, am not as good. I mean, I can play all of the main songs on expert and pass them, get 5 stars on quite a few and all, but I'm not as obsessed over getting amazing scores as them, so I just think Rock Band fit me better. As far as the thing about the pricing I read it right here on the site...

So, I'm not sure about the Gamestop thing. They could have just given you their information on pricing based on pre-conceived, rumored pricing and the store worker was just mis-informed that they were set, official prices.

I'm sure Guitar Hero III will be fun, but I just have a feeling that Rock Band fits my tastes better.

Do Ebay, like the other person said. That's what I did for my two PS3 games I sold and they went for well above the price Gamestop would give you.

Oh, by the way, the bundle was officially announced at not $200, but $170 instead, just so you know. This includes the game, 1 guitar, drums, and mic.
