I played both personally I like MGS4 because it is one of those epic times in gaming everything comes together and unfolds and the final boss battle is probably the best.

Like other say get both or at least finish ME before trading in and getting MGS. Reason being you want to finish ME before its sequels come out and MGS4 can wait, but cannot be passed up.

Yeah but MGS had the same developer through the whole series. Right now Halo 4 would be like a MGS5 only with someone else making it.

Well if it's good then why not? Fallout 3 is made by a different developer but it looks great.

Yeah but MGS had the same developer through the whole series. Right now Halo 4 would be like a MGS5 only with someone else making it and the story being changed drastically to make room for the uneeded sequel after a game pretty much stated the series ended.
