during the formal announcement of the PS4(whatever year they announce it at E3), if at some point in the Sony conference they had Chad Warden come on the stage to talk about the PS Quad!

I imagine they would say they have a special guest, then the room would go dark. Then you hear the song 'We fly High' pumped loud on the big speakers. Then the big screen comes on and they start to zoom in on some guy who is wearing shades and has a bunch of bling and he's surrounded by hot girlz. This is in the middle of time square now. When they finally get close enough you can see it's Chad Warden! The room erupts with cheering and laughter!

Chad starts trolling about how ballin the PS Quad is and it's all about how he's all about the gaimez. After the clip, they turn the lights back on and Chad comes on stage to formally announce how ballin the PS Quad is.

I think this would be truly epic and would make the Sony conference the talk of E3. Kevin Butler is great and everything and yes they should have him there also but honestly, the announcement would be boring without Chad daddy.

I've never owned a PSP mostly due to price, battery life and i'm not a big fan of portables. But Nintendo changed my mind so I decided to pre-order a 3DS and with that I can go back and pick up some nice DS titles while i'm at it.

Then I thought to myself, wouldn't right now be a good time to get a great deal on a PSP? You can get a PSP 3000 from Amazon BRAND NEW for $129 no tax and free shipping. For those of you who have one, do you think this is a good deal? I mostly like RPGs and adventure games. I'm not a big shooter fan even though I am a 360 owner.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Sonic Unleashed's CGI opening. Stunning, felt like a Pixar movie merged with Star Wars.

Great CGI but terrible intro. I guess it's good for people who are addicted to WOW but for me it was just boring and childish.

I already pre-ordered a black 3DS but I will be first in line for a 3DS XL when Nintendo decides to refresh their console. This time they will not make a lighter version I don't think. This thing is already super thin and sleek. However, there is plenty of demand for larger screens.

Larger screens mean room for a larger batter and this will give it a longer battery life even with bigger screens. I'm thinking 4" bottom touchscreen and 5" 3D Widescreen FTW! Also they could include better cameras. I'm thinking 3 - 3.0 Megapixel cams upgraded from 3 - 0.3 Megapixel on the current model. Finally they could give it better speakers so it will sound better than the launch models. This will go well with the netflix streaming feature you know Nintendo is planning.

A lot of people were saying they didn't want a DSi XL but it sold like hot cakes. And I think Nintendo realized there is a huge market for bigger screens. Doesn't mean they will stop selling the regular one that is more portable but options are great I think and Nintendo loves to refresh their consoles.

If you already own a PS3, what point is there in getting an NGP just to play the same games portable? Maybe, but you'd be better off getting something like the 3DS so you can play Nintendo exclusives.

However, if you own a 360, then it makes sense to get an NGP to play all of the Sony exclusives and you also get an awesome portable system while you're at it!

Being open-worlded like they intended it would have been major reason...but consoles like the 360 tend to gimp games due to the ancient DVD9...

What would making this game open ended have done? Imagine an open ended Sillent Hill. Would you like to play that? It simply wouldn't work for that type of game.

If the developers are good, they can make it work. You can always close of area's artificially before opening them. Gotta love the skeptism here...''it wouldn't work anyway.'' pathetic damage control.

Why not make God of War open ended? Or why not make Call of Duty open ended? Every game should be open ended if it weren't for the garbage 360 and DVD-9! BLAST YOU MICROSOFT!!!

The problem of the game was that it was developed for the 360. Now if it had stayed on the PC where it's fullest potential could have been realised...
Who knows we could have AW vs. UC2 threads all day.

Locutus_Picard

How do you think it staying on the PC would have made the actual game better?

I must agree with the gamespot score of 8.5. Not that Alan Wake is a bad game, it's just not an unforgettable masterpiece. It's a very good game though and I highly recommend it. I payed only $9 for the download code off of ebay. Then I paid $5 for BOTH DLC chapters. At those prices it's a must have. The main problem I have with the game is that it's very uneven. Some scenes were amazing. While others were long and very repetitive and tedious as a result. My favorite scene was the rock concert scene. That was truly a great gaming moment. Overall score is a 8.5

DLC 1 - The Signal - was not so good. In my opinion this is worse quality than the actual game. It is one of my least favorite scenes in the entire game, maybe the worst. Somewhat difficult and very annoying. Also the story didn't make much sense. My score is a 7.0

DLC 2 - The Writer - This was truly an amazing work of art. This rivals the rock concert scene in the game for my favorite scene. If they made an entire game of this quality it would be amazing. My score is a 9.5

I'm waiting for the sequal and hope they are able to put more of the memorable pieces of the first one and minimize the tedious parts. Also, concentrate on the story which was one of the best aspects of the game.

In closing - For those who missed it, take advantage of the dramatically low prices and buy this game immediately!!!!!
