Answer me, honestly kipi. But that doesn't seem to be enough for you kipi! What's enough for you?!
And btw, I do not ignore problems, but you guys are repeating the same points over and over again! You go with the same phrases like: we did a lot for the union but you don't appreciate it.. etc. This is turning into a futile argument, and that's why I don't want to continue in it.
My vote goes to Hamilton.
How about you make some photocopies of it and color on of them to have a nicer look? And if possible, can you take a larger scan?
Ok that's it; I think I did my best to fix things again, but you (blaze) and kipi just do not want to have peace and harmony between us.
As for the "ALSO", I was directing it to kipi and I used that word to imply that "in addition" to the previous things kipi said, he's demoted for lack of respect and use of inappropriate language.
I invited you and kipi again to join us, but you guys declined in an agressive manner. There's nothing more I can do, and I'm not gonna bother replying to your posts because I'm really sick of this argument. To be honest, this argument is taking a lot of time that could be put into improving the union.
I'm not gonna waste anymore time here.
I went to that meeting expecting a professional one; since I had a lot of respect to the officers before that meeting. Things went out fine at the beginning, but unfortunately the larger portion turned out the opposite; with insults flying here and there acompanied with sarcastic replies! This wasn't the way I expected the argument to be from officers who I respected and highly appreciated.
Blaze, I hope that the misunderstaning of that phrase wasn't the reason of your resignation, or at least didn't contribute to that decision. I never intended to demote you; and in the meeting I clearly left the decision to you. In the end, it was you who decided to resign. Yet, if you still wish to work at the F1PU, you are still welcomed.
Kipi, you clearly stated that you cannot continue working under my leadership, so were you going to resign even if I didn't demote you? The logical answer (given what you stated) would be "yes". You hit me hard with insults and offensive language, yet I can forget that. I don't hold any hard feelings toward your move of forming your own F1 union. It's your right, it's your ambition; and that's actually nice to have ambition. But it can be clearly observed that there aren't many F1 people here at GS, and having two separate F1 unions would divide a small number into even a smaller one. That does not benefit F1 fans here at GS.
If you guys wish to work again with us at the F1PU, we can all forget the past and focus on one F1 union and improve it even further. It's up to you.
Remember, I have no hard feelings to any of you.
but aloushi, you are making us look bad guys here mate, going down the list and in EVERY reply you mentioned how we "refused to work together with you", making it look like we turned our backs on the union, when in fact it was the opposite, YOU couldnt work with US to reach an agreement over the vote (when all 3 offciers in attendance agreed this was best)...you specifically mentioned that you WOULD have a poll to see if the members wanted a vote or not...where is it?
BlaZe_irl
No, blaze, you guys clearly stated that you CANNOT continue working under my leadership, therefore; it is you and kipi who refuse to work with me. And it's true that when I got really fed up, I was that close to making the poll, but then kipi had to go so far with his insults and offensive language that mixed up the whole converstaion and our moods.
You go on about how kipi deeply insulted you with various insults, but the thing is, any opinions he gave, you tossed out the window in one short msg, repeating things like "this/ that isnt nessecary...do you want to continue with f1pu?" ...how would you react having your opinion constantly ignored and "anwsered" by an irrelevant comment?
BlaZe_irl
I took everybody's opinions in consideration and commented on them, but then kipi started with his sacrcastic replies that really pissed me off. I wouldn't bother replying to sarcastic replies, no reasonable person would.
also the argument didnt arise over the "affiliation" but because you wouldnt consider a vote of no confidence
BlaZe_irl
Is that so, Blaze?! Well, then how do you explain kipi's sarcastic comments before our argument heated up; such as when I asked for your repiles guys, kipi replied with:
" I dunno. there. happy now"
And how abou this one:
"Well, Ali, we need to come up with a long-term solution not a short-term one, cus all it'll do is get members in for a bit, then they'll leave again. and i hope it doesn't include you, but who knows right?"
Clearly, it shows how sarcastic he was by saying "I hope it doesn't include you, but who knows right?"
Or better still, read this quote:
"you only want to do this cus you want the attention for yourself so you can see my union suffer and say " i told you so""
Great! So now he's accusing me of something I would never do; because I'm a respectful leader of a respectful union, and I do not step to that level of being low. That was very childish..
now....any comments I had made, were blatanly ignored as aloushi would rather challenge kipi instead of responding to me. I would make a comment, kipi would agree, aloushi would say something like "dont step into our matters kipi"..."you are no longer an officer at f1pu" which would then spark another round of arguments leaving my comment unanswered.
BlaZe_irl
I did not ignore your comments; I just asked you to wait a bit till I finish with kipi, and I said that politely with the phrases:
"just a sec, , chris"
And I replied after that. As for the "dont step in our matters kipi", that happened after kipi got demoted, it was then when I started ignoring his comments simply because of the extremly offensive and sarcastic replies.
at this point i was sick of being ignored (face it mate you said you were listening, but you never once gave me a decent reply) and I decided to go aggressive. And where does trying to express my opinion get me? ill tell you: "u know what, u r also kicked out of teh F1PU as of this moment for lack of respect and use of inappropriate language"
BlaZe_irl
Agressive?! You went disrespectful, blaze, and you know what language you used!
As for that phrase I wrote "u know what..." it was meant to kipi and NOT to you!!!
I never wanted to demote and I didn't! That was a misunderstanding, may be the phrase wasn't clear enough.
Now speaking of disrespect?!?!? you blatantly ignore me for the best part of 40 mins, and when I lose my temper (which I shouldnt of done but still...) at this, you decide to demote me just like that after a few comments (i counted at most 2 aggressive comments on my part)?!?!
BlaZe_irl
Again, you misudnerstood my phrase, that was to kipi and NOT to you. I'll say it once again, I never intended to demote you, and I didn't.
ve said it before and I shall it again, ive worked hard here, and the fact you would show me such DISRESPECT while you rub it in kipi's face that he is "no longer an officer at F1pu"....ok, you offered me the position again, but the fact that you would consider my demotion was enough to show me how you really thought.
BlaZe_irl
Blaze my friend, I didn't show any disrespect to anyone in the meeting, and not to you of course. I offered you the position again after YOU decided to resign, because I respected you and valued you. Again, it seems that misunderstood that phrase, that I was directing to kipi and not to you.
ok listen mate, im not sure why having leadership is THAT important to you....you even said it yourself that you didnt think it was....why not just step down into an officer position?!? there is no difference having a orange tag instead of a green tag, except how it is motivational for the recruits....
BlaZe_irl
I admit that I said that I didn't think my position was that important to the union, but that's because you officers have almost the same privelages as me in the union. Many members, if not most of them, didn't seem to be affected by my absence, and that's why I said what I said, but you and kipi made a big deal out of it.
Everyone here is smart enough to know that when aloushi goes to university, he is gona have a ton of work thrown at him, and his future is more important than this place. Regardless of what he says, hes not gona be around much after september due to this. Do you as a member really want an absentee leader? one will come once around every so often? Im not trying to turn you against him, but im just stating the obvious here....life is catching up with him, and he will have better things to worry about than wether the vision thread gets updated in time...
BlaZe_irl
OMG! Won't you let it off, blaze?! I wont bother typing the response which I have wrote many times in the previous posts about me being around in he future.
But like I said, im not telling you how to think nor am I trying to turn you against aloushi....im just saying things EVERYONE should consider in the long term....BlaZe_irl
Oh yeah?! You are not trying to turn them on me?! Well, the way you wrote stuff here seems to suggest the opposite!!!
Please, I'm sick of this futile argument. I'd rather focus now on improving the F1PU, and not getting into more of futile arguments.
I agree that there is a chance that Alonso will leave McLaren, but where would he go? I can't see Ferrari getting rid of either of their drivers and I also can't see Alonso being content at a team that wasn't capable of achieving race wins.wombat26
That's true; yet Alonso is a great talent that teams would really fight over him.
I remember I read a report in F1 Racing last month that discussed the overtaking dilemma, and how slipstreaming affects the downforce of the car that's trying to slip past the car infront (it was pretty interetsing!). The overtaking dilemmma is something that's very difficult to solve, even for the elite engineers.
Going back to the picture that cjek posted above, even if that slight modification was to help in overtaking; yet we cannot forget the considerable gap in the engines performance between team such as the Mclaren and the Honda, or even between the Mclaren and the Williams. That will still act as an important factor IMO.
