JV never showed championship material; IMO he won that championship in 1997 by a fluke!

But what do you think of his singing voice? Did you hear the song he released last season? :P

Yeah, it was an average race. A boring one to be honest! :S
Alonso was delayed a lot by Ralf, those two seem to hate each other a lot! :P I was disappointed by Massa's performance; I know his started from the lower part of the grid, yet I expected him to end up in the top eight, it wasn't his day.

After all those problems in the Mclaren, it seems that we can't be sure that Alonso will stay with them.

I'm a founding member of the spirted f1 community, but I will still remain in both unions

It is a shame that everyone cant get along, And the worse thing to happen wud be gamespot's F1 community spilt between two

factions if u will, Hopefully that wont happen and hopefully everyone can resolve there differences.

ShamrockRovers

Welcome anytime to the F1PU. :)
I hate to have conflicts with anyone, but this is how things turned out.

controversy in Formula 1 and now contraversy in F1PU lol, i dont know in inside details so i'll take the same stand a 'cjek'mjk1

lol, it seems to so!
Anyway, we have a lot of work and there are many new members. I don't want to waste more time on this, let's work together as one team!

My personal opinion is that there is no point in having two or more split unions and fans of F1 simple because we are not so many and its not a matter that supports it. It is much better to go to only one place like F1PU. mavediss

That's what almost everyone agrees on, but it doesn't seem to work.

Regarding to leaders and officers issues it is difficult to know in detail what has happened but the leader should have his own standards to support decisions like that.
mavediss

As I've said in a previous post, there are things that are decided by the members, others by the F1PU admin, and some by the leader only.

The bottom line is that we are here to enjoy F1 matters and this is what we care. I think that personal matters and giant egos should stay outside. Everyone that is interested to talk, discuss or just read about F1 and related games should be welcome. We should remember to work as a team like F1 sport.mavediss

Very true; the F1PU is a place where everyone and anyone can disucss everything and anything about F1 and its games.

Well Aloushi has returned as we wished, and has started to contribute fully to the union again as we wished. To me that put things back on track here
cjek

Thanks for that. I said that I have returned and that I'll start contributing a lot to the F1PU, and I think that my recent work shows it.

So I'll keep out of this and continue to participate in the union as normal. Hopefully we can all just forget any problems we have here and move on.cjek

Welcome again on board. I'll say it again, I have invited both of them to forget the past and work together again; eventhough it would be difficult to work with someone who have shown extreme disrespect to me. Anyway, they refused.

I've been a member of this union for almost a year now and I'll admit, Blaze and Kipi did do a lot of good for the union. However, Aloushi is the leader, and I think we should stand by him in his decisions.

TannerRules

Thanks for your support. :)

I've personally never experienced these incidents that your talking about(where a member tries to voice their opinion or idea and Aloushi has disregarded it).

TannerRules

Thanks again, this proofs to everyone (including kipi) that I never disregarded or disrepected a F1PU member.

Aloushi, it was unnesscessary to demote kipi19 and Blaze that fast after a meeting. After these two years, these two guys made a huge amount of contribution to the union.
Khoo1992

Please note that I demoted kipi only; Blaze took the resigning decision by himself. I've always appreciated their efforts in the F1PU, but to kipi that doesn't seem to be enough.

I know it was hurting when Kipi insulted you with those words, but you have to resist... One of my friends kept insult meat school with those words to but I tried to ingore those words and understand his feeling before I took any actions.

Khoo1992

I took the insults for too long, but then they became way too much to take. An officer should show respect to the leader, and kipi didn't show any in that meeting.

Plus, please remeber the follwoing: kipi did NOT want to continue under my leadership, so I suppose he was going to resign either way. Nevertheless, all those terrible insults didn't help in keeping him as an officer.

Aloushi, think again... They have always be with the union after all these years.

Khoo1992

Khoo, I have given them chances during the meeting. As I said in a previous post, I invited them to forget the past and work together again, but they refused. There's nothing more I can do.

Good job making us look like the bad guys, when our best interests were in the union
BlaZe_irl

I did not make you look like the bad guys; I just stated what happened at that meeting, Blaze.

"when it comes to demoting, ,there r only two persosn who decide, The leader and the officer, not the union"...doesnt sound like you care too much about the "dear" members here does it? what if all 300+ members here were unhappy with your leadership? you would just toss it aside with some "only the leader/officers can make this decision yadayadayada..." well people wouldnt buy that....
BlaZe_irl

In the F1PU, the promoting decision is taken by the leader only. As for demoting, it is either decided by the leader or the officer does it on his own by resigning. That doesn't mean that the members' opinion is not taken into consideration, but there are things that are decided by the F1PU Administration only, and even some of these are decided by the leader only.

For example, the BATracer signing up procedure's decision is taken by the members, and not the F1PU administration. But other stuff like demoting and promoting is done by the admin and the leader.

face it m8, you wont be able to keep promises come september. You'll be at uni doing whatever the f*** your doing and I know this union wont be in your agenda.....at least this time, at least TRY not to get everyones hope up before you go again.

BlaZe_irl

That's your thought, and I hope it's not what you wish for, Blaze. I have my personal life, and uni should come first for anyone. When you become a uni student you'll come to understand how important it is; your performance there is what determines your future, and I can't take any risks. However, and as I have stated in my letter, I'll still be around after my break, even if at a natural lower rate due to the uni work.

And you say that you "know that this union wont be in your agenda"; well Blaze, can you see the future or what?! Don't decide on things that you have no control over. I'm not giving anyone false hopes; time shall reveal it.

The cars need to change, not the weekend format. Qualifying is great, and the race format has always worked well.cjek

Hmm.. though the qulaifying session is pretty exciting, I still think that the 3rd part of the Q. session must modified a bit; and by that I mean the fuel-burning lap.
