Yeah right, as if Flavio will come and tell Ron Dennis: yeah sure Ron, go ahead and take my golden boy and test with him as much as you want!

To be honest, I've always preferred EA Sport's F1 games over Sony's ones; they are simply more realistic; just play F1 Challenge 99-02 (PC version) and judge by your self, it is an instant classic.

And I think that reason why Studio Liverpool ain't producing really good F1 games on the PS2 is because they are lazy to push the PS2 to its limits and also because of the same reason that CM mentioned above about having the exclusive rights. Don't talk to me about the PS2's hardware becoming old, yes that's a factor but look at Gran Turismo 4, and if you want to argue about having many cars and memory issues, then look at Toca Race Driver 3, it's clear that SL are not trying hard enough.

However, I'm still holding hopes for the PS3's F1 game as it looks very promising so far, even Gamespot's and IGN's staff seem to be very pleased with the demos so far.

As for Rfactor's low popularity, the only reason I can think of is because it isn't that known and probably most of the guys haven't had the chance to play it (including me). But you can start a separate thread where you can introduce the game more to the members on the board and help in spreading its popularity, and if that game is really that good then you'll be doing the F1 fans here a favour by introducing it. :)

Sorry for the long post! ;)

he has to be the second driver- thats the rule. massa scored more points than him, so he is naturally ferrari's no.2 for 2007. it was the same with honda this year and barrichello, although button was widely regarded as a better driver than barrichello the regulations say that the driver with the most points in the previous season is no.2 driver. If michael cam back in 08 he couldnt be no.1 driver for that team unless he was with a rookie driver whos in his first season or someone crap like ide.impl0sion
Is that really a rule in F1?

In real life, I don't think that the FIA would allow a F1 car to continue racing on 3 tires, even if it is in the final lap.

I see Toro Rosso signed the TBA brothers. Both of them are said to be talented but a little wreckless at times.hellisgoodbye
