First of all theres only like a few hundred thousand consoles in the UK and theres like tens of millions of people here.
Second people sometimes use something called a credit card when they desperate for some new tech, which meas they dont actually have the money upfront.
Third there are still rich people even now , recession doesn't mean that rich people loose all their money ( many russians for eg have come to london lately with their new found wealth). Dont forget the arabs too.
Lastly and trust me when i say this, but there are MANY, MANY people out there that wish they could get a new console but just cant afford it.. My guess is you just mad that they sold out , to that i say just blood wait it dont even have good games yet.
WHY???? why would anyone be that desperate for a PS4 , it dont even have any worthwhile games yet. Just wait guys. Im sure you still have loads of current gen games to play, i mean GTa 5 hast been out that long . This argument goes double for Xbone one. I bet that gonna charge £700 for that. Only reason i can see to pay over the rrp is that you are super rich and dont give a toss or are trying to make your child really happy on christmas as their mum died or something.
xbox one should be ashamed of themselves they selling us games that still run at 720p, then charging us £100 extra for that ffs , when they know thats one of the most fundamental things a new console should have brought ie native 1080p games.
Casuals dont understand this as their eyes are not trained, but when you play games that are upscaled from low resolution on to a 1080p screen, the games look awful. Just awful, and a pc gamer will spot this very fast.
the wiiu has been out for a while so ofc it will have better games so far lol. When the wiiu first came out it has bad games too. Just wait till this time next year and you will see good games on next gen, it takes time .
Ye but to get an awesome PC now, that will end up giving a better experience than the PS4 , you need to spend alot of money. First of all , only one of the new Graphic cards will do, and they cost almost as much as a console on their own lol. Its my preference too, i just wish it was cheaper to get the best PC stuff.
The xbox one CANT be forced out lol. You have to understand that although people like us know that the PS 4 is a superior purchase in terms of tech at least, the vast majority of people dont, and they will simply buy the system that their friends tell them to buy. The xbox one has that built in kinect feature that oh so appeals to the casuals.
The disparity between the graphics of xbox one and ps4 will only get bigger as times goes by. At launch you better believe Microsoft did everything in its power to bully the games developers to make the games as similar as possible. However many months down the line when so many games are coming out they wont be able to keep up.
