Hey look, ya'll need to chill out with the "parents too cheap to buy consoles" garbage. I owned consoles... which were kept at my grandparents house because they thought constant access to videogames was a bad thing. So i did get a new console game at times but i also got some of these here and there as a stocking stuffer or what-not and was happy to have them. It was the portable option before Gameboys.

I can recall the days back in 03 and 04 combing through the custom maps on bnet. Some were fun, i usually enjoyed dota matches and tried to join whenever they showed up.

They're gonna have to "come back" as programs. That is the only non-lame way to move forward with this. Or i suppose i should say less lame anyway. Its not that im dissappointed Smith isnt returning. He shouldnt. But Hugo Weaving not returning is unfortunate because if this movie sucks which is a big possibility, he would at least be enjoyable to watch.

We kinda got a taste of it in the last remake with Mr X. I expect that to be a much bigger part of this next game since Nemesis was the one who started that from way back.

So... if im someone who's never read a book or played a game, i should in theory be unaffected by whatever comparison issues other people are making with this show, is that correct? Is the show at least enjoyable just for what it is and not because of expectations? I didnt read the article because of spoilers.

I dont think there is any way to redesign the game for a controller. There are just too many commands and the speed needed to move the cursor around requires a mouse. At least if you want to be competitive with it and not super casual. I would quicker look for a way to either comfortably sit on the couch with some tray table of sorts or sit on the floor using the coffee table personally rather than play with a controller. I still think this should come to consoles and i'm wondering how well this will sell as a PC release. This is afterall very old and just because myself and some other people who are old enough to remember this are excited doesnt mean enough people will buy it.

Hmmm seeing as Microsoft just announced their new system, maybe they plan to release on the next generation later perhaps.

I' completely with you on this. My favorite videogame of all time by a large margin at that. I would sink A LOT of time into this. Especially if they included the map editor but even if not, i'd still play it online. But yeah... like you im pretty much a console player these days despite this being my favorite. Wasnt really much of a PC gamer before either but now i dont even have one. I wouldnt touch this on a controller though.

I am not familiar with this meme and i'm not any more interested in "the potion seller" after reading this article. I can confidently say that if this... "potion seller" gets included, he/she/it/whatever will be the first to go if modding tools are included in my version of the game. I feel i have to say that because given how annoying they were with flagged NPCs, the "potion seller" will be like the only unkillable merchant in the game. Basically anyone you actually want dead.

That was exactly my thoughts. Dean seems a better Walker. Actually i like Jared but i think Jenson is an all around better actor. He seems to fill villian roles fairly well too (Demon, Michael). Kinda curious to see Jenson as that sort of character. Still thinking Jared would be a great Adam Warlock.
