The stacks are a nice idea, for example I like how we now get the cover art beside the titles. But, gamespot, you really need to give us sorting options in the stacks, as well as displaying pertinent information beside the games, such as release dates, review scores, platform, etc. The extent to which I could organize my game lists was my #1 reason for coming to gamespot. Please fix, I want to like you guys...

Agree 100%. GS staff, please fix this.

well they actually have changed something. I believe that on initial launch of the new layout, the stacks were completely unorganized, and now they are at least alphabetical. supposedly, they are working on fixing them, but who knows when the fix might roll out. all that can be said, is that they will eventually be fixed.

They are still not in alphabetical order. Or in any conceivable order. They are totally random as of this moment for me.

the stacks are fine. they just need to fix them is all.

And exactly when is this fix supposed to be applied? I've been waiting for it for a while now. It's been what, 2 months already?

+1 on the "stacks are fine" comment. I like them too, just waiting for the bugs to be fixed so we can use them properly.

The question of "when" has to be taken with a grain of salt because this is not the only issue GameSpot is working on, and there's only so much a handful of human beings can do in a day. The launch of two new consoles in the past few weeks, which needed constant coverage, didn't help with free time for this, I believe.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Whoever came up with the idea of updating a major site when there are two consoles launching in the near future. That's silliness.

Click on the title of the rating, On the right side, under the ad you'll see a box that says "Edit this user review' There's a delete button there.

Yes that needs to be made better.

Didn't know it was possible. Thanks!

Hi all, especially @DigitalDame and @edgework,

I am a long time GS user. I used GS as my sole means for managing my games collection, as well as the games I want. The display in the old website was very helpful, by including the name, platform, GS score, user score displayed in an easy-to-export (to excell) format. It was sortable alphabetically, by platform, by GS score and by user score. I want to see that functionality return. Anyone else with me?

Additionally, where are the Followed games stack? I can't see it anywhere.

When I add games to my "Games I Want" stack, how do I select the platform that I want to play it on?

Currently, the platform details for "Games I Want" and "Games I Own" stacks are very vague. They should be displayed. Along with GS score and the user score as well, as it was in the old website.

And when we click the "+" in the individual games' webpages, I don't see an option to add to the "I Own This" stack. There should be one.

And when I open the individual games' webpages of some game that I want to own, it doesn't register that that game is already on my "I want this" stack.

I love GS, and I want to help it get better. I hope this constructive criticism helps in the overall design of things here. Thank y'all!

@Bgrngod: My Collection has vanished for me, too! It was the only place that I used to track games. I hope they restore it soon!

They most definitely will not restore your collection if it got cleared out during the update. They may change the features around, but if your list is gone, it's most likely gone for good.

I spent a good chunk of my night last night rebuilding my collection list at GameFAQS using their list tool. Worked pretty well using my tablet and standing in front of my game shelves checking off games. Got about 1/4th of it done so far. Rebuilding my wish list is going pretty smoothly as well. Using the Japanese titles that oddly show up in the Gamespot stacks, to do a search in GameFAQS, returns the english titled game 99% of the time.

Man, stop spreading panic around. @edgework already posted on the "Where are the ratings?" thread that the staff is working towards restoring most of the old functionality in the stacks. Give it some time, a couple of weeks, maybe.

@edgework: Hey, this sounds like great news!!! Looking forward to the list returning, any filters by genre, etc. would be a great bonus, but main thing is, if the list itself returns it's already a win. Thanks!

A minor question though, you said all our .5 ratings are there. Does that mean the .5 will be returning permanently, e.g. we will be rate games currently using .5, OR it just means that such ratings are not lost, are kept and will be converted to .0, however we will not be able to rate using ,5?

I believe it's the bolded two.
