Thank you for the responses! Do you all think I should return it? I don't think it'd just be SLIGHTLY new cuz the guy I bought it from had like 90+ of them...

Haha thanks for the sarcasm :) It is actually appreciated by me. No, I'm not being sarcastic lol. Pretty much you're saying just live with it. But could it cause damage to in insides of the controller?

Oh, and also, could this make the controller easier to break in the future if I don't end up exchanging it?

I think the tape is normal. I hope that the noise goes away. Should I take action and ask for an exchange? It is pretty annoying when I think about it...

It's kinda hard to describe. I guess you can say it's like plastic inside rubbing against something else, which it is lol, but my SIXAXIS didn't do that? You could describe it as a click. Will this go away after some more use? Thank you.

I bought it on eBay. It said new. And the top and bottom portion of the container was supported by tape connecting the plastic to the cardboard. Was that like yours as well?

Hello. I just received my Ceramic White DS3 in the mail today.

To those who have the DS3, does your D-pad make a noise when pressing the buttons? Forinstance, mine makes a noise after pressing up, then down...

Should I just try to forget about it? After all, I mostly use the analog stick, and when I press the D-pad buttons in a game I don't really hear it.

Thank you.
