@bannermanner He's a film artist who's in the gaming industry. That is by far not a bad thing. The maturity of things like Heavy Rain and Beyond are far devoid of the pewpew 12 year old elements in the games industry...they make me proud to have followed the gaming industry into what it's now becoming: superlative.
My biggest beef with Steamboxes is not the fact that they're made by OEMs, or that they're being developed by Valve. It's that bloody OS. While i can accept Valve testing out the market with their new baby the SteamOS, i am very much opposed to the idea of them selling it with expensive machinery as the 'primary' OS. At the moment it's VERY incomplete, only runs a handful of titles, and is very glitchy still. It's years off being a gaming-grade OS to compete with Mac or Windows, and certainly shouldn't be being -sold- with kit!!
@the_bi99man @drwhoiscool They're giving out SteamOS with the source code, because they pretty much have to releasing a Linux based OS. I don't see third party adaptions and add ons for the Steam client anywhere, do you?
If people don't like EA then people should stop investing their money in them. Simple as that. That's how a Capitalist system works. However people don't do that, people buy the games and all the add ons they forge with them, then complain on the internet about the fact that not all is perfection, in what is a fictional piece of entertainment designed like artwork in motion. It's rediculous beyond belief.
Also to Jonneh: Go you! Tell those filthy brats what they deserve. I love it when people stand up for what should be said, instead of pussying around terrified to insult someone. People aren't insulted enough about their stupidity. Stupidity -should- be punished.

Nice that they're giving their Phone and PC adopters a discount :) I shall pick up a copy since it has co-op! Which is essential for a full Halo experience, i think.

Yet more proof that once again, Xbox is going to be up there for games but not pure visual prowess, whereas the PS4 will be amazing for technical ability, just lacking in top, top quality genre distinguishing games.
