well I agree to a point. They also had to deal with biased reporting and drones spreading misinformation.The leaks that some dolts within the company let out I think kind of screwed their whole marketing strategy.

People had their mind made up their policies were terrible before they were even explained. Once someone has that perception, it's hard to get them to understand what the truth is.

You can't do what you're saying without DRM. That's why there was a check-in. It was to keep people from installing the disc and passing it around like a sorority chick.

I was fine with what MS wanted to do, I think it would've paved the way to a steam-like pricing structure(I do readily admit that might not have happened).

1. How so? Music has moved away from physical media(and how funny Sony tried to extend control over that: See rootkit). Blu ray is at the end, a disc. The digital age has rendered them obsolete. Although they are still a viable medium, there is a better, more cost effective way to play games.

2. You clearly are being obtuse or you never looked or thought about the possibilities. The info is out there if you care. I'd suggest you look into how it's going to be used in DR3 and others. Saying people would have to a kid to enjoy it is a myopic way of thinking. It has more to offer games than just motion. The device allows for some real creative things.

3-Regardless, they are nice additions that won't take away from the gaming experience. If you have a console that is about games and lets you do so much more, that's a bonus, not a take away.

Seeing they sold out, they didn't screw up as terrible as you imply.

I see a decision for a lot of you in the future. DRM and digital libraries are coming. You can't have digital without drm. Developers would love to cut out the middle man and sell directly to the gamer. Gamers could see steam-like prices(that remains to be seen I admit).

Sony has a patent on the tech for gaming, and they want to do it to movies as well. Many of you are going to have to admit you were wrong for accusing MS was evil for trying to push us into the digital age, or stick to your guns and get out of gaming altogether

ahahahahahaha you drones complaining about MS using "old" tech in their controllers are such fools. How do your rationalize your argument when you:

rip on them for trying to go all digital. You screamed about how you wanted to still game using discs, which have been around for over 15 years now.

rip them for trying to get the kinect into every home. It will add to the gaming experience aside from motion controls.

rip on them for adding more features to the system that are not game related.

Somehow they are dumb, but sony putting a feature in the DS that won't be used by more than a third of you, is just swell.
