Master.

got my Master System today.... thank god my neighbour accepted, 'cos it was DHL, and they are a nightmare to use, so yea, I got it. The pause button is on the console, which I think is really weird, and most of the games I have at the mo are a bit rubbish, but I'm getting a Donald Duck platformer soon enough, so yay!

Details on next video!

Late next week, I'll be doing SHG Episode 8. I'm waiting until then 'cos, along with my Master System, I bought a metric tonne of games for loads of systems, so yea, watch this space.

For once, as a gamer, I'm glad to live in the UK.

Living in rip off Britain is not fun, most of the time. We get delays, pay double what Americans did for Rock Band, and we only got GC Animal Crossing after Nintendo Official Magazine started a petition.

Anyway, I just got some moneyz, and I finally picked up my Sega Master System. If you live in the States, think how easy and cheap it is to pick up the NES with games, and then flip it over with the Master System, and that's the situation here. SMS games are dirt cheap and plentiful, and even games like Phantasy Star are much cheaper.

I got a Model 1, with Alex Kidd built in. There were some pretty amazing bundles, but I just wanted the system, as I already have some games. Once I get it in, I will own the big 4 Sega consoles: Master System, Megadrive, Saturn and Dreamcast. Yay!

Too much, for that.....

As the eBay/internet whore that I am, I spend a lot of time thinking about whether some games are worth it. I know I'm willing to pay the exuberant prices for games such as Paper Mario, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Banjoa Tooie, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Panzer Dragoon Saga, though that's because I have to for half of those, but there are a new breed of retro rarity that have become greatly undesireable to me due to the whole download scene. For instance:

The original SNES Harvest Moon goes for well over £100 on eBay, but 800 points on the VC. I'm not the biggest fan of the series, so the download will do for me. Other games include Streets of Rage 3, Alien Soldier, any game on the Neo-Geo and import RPGs that soon going to come to the EU VC, like Super Mario RPG and (touch wood) Earthbound. I could get any of these games, but my lack of caring for either the import scene or painfully rare consoles or overrated disappointements means that I most definitely won't be paying more than £50 for a copy of Streets of Rage 3!

Good day to you!

P.S. I'm a little "annoyed" with eBay, 'cos I had to get a new account, 'cos my original one got hacked twice in one week. At least I could use my PayPal account.... god, that would have been a nightmare to set up.

Done!

I finished my last exam today. It was so boooooring. I finished in an hour, and it was a 2 hour paper...... I was awake, but asleep at the same time..... very weird....

Anyway, I'm over the moon that I don't have to do any more exams until my A-level mocks in February.

One more left.......

Yay! One more exam left..... a 2 hour Greek language exam....*sigh* Wednesday, it ends! I'll celebrate by playing Russian Roulette with all the barrels filled.....

Today, I sat in an exam hall for 90 minutes, writing about the original Ancient Greek version of the Illiad, with a stong desire to club someone, but I went to a party afterwards, which was really great fun. Junk food, great music, great company, and a strange green gloo were all amazing, so I guess the day ended pretty well.

If you don't have any more exams.....

.... I hate you. I know I've betched about this for ages, but I'm not gonna stop now. I have two more exams while all my friends don't, and you know what, I am beyond the point of caring. Doing exams since late April has completely worn me down, and the remaining two exams are for a subject I hate, am really bad at, and am not doing next year, so why should I bother? I know I've done fine in all my other subjects....so....why?
