I don't think you're a fanboy. From a purely objective perspective (well as objective as anyone can be) that Rockster can be trusted because they believe in making good games and don't usually disappoint.

Liking something because it's good doesn't make someone a fanboy, raving blind loyalty to something no matter how bad it gets with pointless attacks on fair criticism makes someone a fanboy or girl.

I agree with you, but think John was right when he said that better graphics did work for genres where better graphics led to greater sales in the past.

That said, I think that the focus on graphics nowadays is bankrupting every genre by making the cost of development too high for ever diminishing returns.

That is to say, for the amount they're paying for those graphics, they really don't add to the gameplay/storyline anymore and don't lead to more sales, but eat into the profits.

Oh my God, he actually said something sane and insightful! Is this the same guy that was in charge of EA? You'd think anyone in charge of EA would never think anything smart or consumer-centric like that.

I agree. Unless it's a legendary or otherwise really powerful weapon that you carried for a long time, it's easy to forget all the disposable weapons you use. I found myself mostly running around with greens with the odd blue+ weapon when I found one that was actually useful.

Higher rarity didn't always mean a better weapon in Borderlands 1/2 so I used what was effective after I tested them.

I agree, they are very consistent in the quality of their games and they're not afraid to take risks. Smart risks that get them success and profit though.

One hell of a company that I respect WAY more than Activision or EA. Take Two cares about quality and respects its customers and it shows.

Both! When you get bored of GTA 5, you can cheat on it with your girlfriend.

Yeah, anyone who played the Frozen Throne and the Founding of Durotar bonus campaign remembers Chen Stormstout and his Kung-fu ways way before Kung Fu Panda came out.

It's just one of those parallel development things. A lot of fictional worlds with anthropomorphised animals tend to make Pandas be Shaolin monks and such. It's been around for years.

I agree. If it's now a new mmo or game, I'm not really interested.
