Do you mean the 5670 has better performance or better price/Performance

I doubt the 4770 will run on my PSU (390w Cooler Master). Also its hard to get here in India so it's 50% more expensive than the 4670

I currently have an Integrated Graphics card and intend to buy the 4670 or 5670. Which gives the best Price vs Performance?

Is direct x11 of any majorimportance?

- I play at 1440x1400

- I need a card without external power connector due to my PSU being somewhat weak. I don't currently intend to upgrade it.

No Point because

1)I play at 1440x1400.Anything better would be wasted

2)I have a generic PSU. The 4670 is the best card I can get which won't strain the PSU

I have a setup of

e7400 Cpu

2gb transcend ram

g31m-es2l motherboard

390W Generic PSU

I wish to buy a ATI 4670 512Mb? But the guy i've asked to get it for me tells me it won't work due to a fsb problem.

He tells me to go for a 8400GS 512 MB instead. Is there a real Problem or is he trying to con me?

I was about to get the 4670 which is cheap and doesn't require a seperate power connector.

But it seems the 5670 is also being released. It seems to be 20% faster with direct x11 and SM 5.0.

So should i wait for the 5670? What will it's price be? Will the 4670 become more expensive as i wait?

The 5 fans should provide easily enough cooling. The liquid Cooling is optional . Do it if you like to.
