I see no reason to not go 64Bit. If there are any programs you NEED to work on windows 7 then google them to see whether they have compatibility problems on 64Bit.

I meant problems with the installation

I have Windows xp 32 on my Computer.

I plan on getting Windows 7 (64 Bit) and Dual Install it with Xp.

Will There be any Problems or Complications?

PS: The reason for the dual install is that Virtualization won't work for me.

I have a 390W Cooler Master Plus PSU and a Low end Rig. I'd like a Cheap card that will last me some time.I play at 1440x1400 only, not higher.

I seem to have 2 Options-

1)Buy a 9600gt or 4670

2)Buy a 5750(dx11 games) or 4770. But are they much better or Useful to me. Will they Work for the psu?

Links of PSU are-

http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=3746 ( I will have to use adapter for 6 pin)

PSU Calculator calculations:

http://web.aanet.com.au/SnooP/psucalc.php (Recommends 250w???)

http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine (Recommends 290w)

Why the Discrepancy?

i think we should make a thread and match card to psu. put all the card into classes and then give them a psu and sticky the thread. e.g 9600/4670 = 000W PSU (000= assign psu w )NSR34GTR
The problem with this may be that people will give too low or too high psu like the graphics card companies. We don't know if a person has low end rig(like myself) or high end rig.

Thanks for the Link.

Please tell me whether the 5750 consumes less power than 4770 as given in 'HD5770 slightly dissapointing' thread

Human-after-all
Yes it does.

Then i will either get the low power 9800gt or the 5750 in 2 months.

[QUOTE="UltimateGamer95"] Not really because the 9800 GT would still have more stream processors.UltimateGamer95

[QUOTE="UltimateGamer95"][QUOTE="azurueus"]Isn't the performance of 9600gt and the 4670 the same. PS: I play at 1440 only not higher

Nope not really. Actually get a low powered edition of the 9800 GT instead.
