@playstationzone: You do realize they revealed a Halo Wars 2 expansion at E3 featuring the Flood, right? Were you expecting something else? If so that's on you. Halo Wars 2 released 4 months ago, it was a given that's what they would have at E3.
@thejash07product : Really? You don't need a college degree to see that a $250 product is going to out sell a $500 that does the same things, just better. The rest of your analysis is unfounded as well as you don't really seem to have any knowledge in the tech sector or profit and loss analysis.
@alaannn: The info is out there on plenty of gaming sites. Also, they literally just announced OG Xbox BC, if they can't get the licenses for the music and other things, or the developer/publisher doesn't give the ok for BC, what are they supposed to do? Put the game on BC and get sued for not having the rights to publish the game?
They are simply saying it won't be possible for all OG Xbox games to be BC due to licensing and legal issues, same reason some 360 games won't ever become BC. If it were up to MS they would absolutely do every game.
@Bread_or_Decide: That's ridiculous and just plain untrue, larger companies worth way more than Nintendo get bought all the time. Nintendo isn't close to the value of companies like Google, MS, or Apple.
That's impossible in some peoples eyes, MS could cure cancer at E3 and that still wouldn't be good enough for some.
Scorpio needs to be $399, can't come in $100 more again, especially if Sony drops the price of the Pro for the holidays. Sony is being aggressive in 3rd party marketing deals, will probably be just as aggressive in their consoles price, maybe even drop it to $300.
MS needs games. If they can get PU Battlegrounds in to their Game Preview this summer that would be a huige win. Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, and Forza 7 release during the holidays. Another 3rd party deal similar to DR4 or Tomb Raider.
Also need games for early 2018, need to reveal a couple new IP's that will be releasing before E3 next year. Can't keep having 9 month game droughts to begin every year.
Who ever thought people charging with a bayonet needed a 15% reduction in damage buff is an idiot. Can't count how many times I put 5-6 bullets into someone charging me at close range and wondering how I didn't kill them, now I know, it's because they had a BS buff.
@apieceoftoast: It did, there's absolutely no reason for someone charging me with a bayonet to take 15% less damage than normal. Running into bullets shouldn't give someone a buff.
@jancis25: I agree, but the game is too expensive for a small MP only title to catch on. It's launching in MS's game preview program and by the time it actually releases no one will be playing it.
