I've never noticed when shopping for a tvs that they mention having an optical audio output. Do new tvs really have that? If not, how should I get surround sound while still getting HD signal?
I've been anxiously awaiting the ability to pre-order the bundle and got excited today when I saw it available on gamestop, but they are charging $60 more for a bluetooth headset. I'm getting a new hd-tv and ps3 and have a question about the setup. I want to use the hdmi cable to send video to my tv, but my old stereo receiver doesn't have hdmi inputs. Can i use both an hdmi cable for video to the tv and then run the audio optically from my ps3 to my receiver? I know hdmi normally carries both audio and video so I'm wondering if that would screw things up. thanks
I'm planning on getting the 80gb bundle when its released on the 12th, but I was wondering if anyone knows someplace on-line where I can pre-order? I'm not having any luck finding a site. My problem is I'm moving to a new state on the 10th and figure it would be too late to find a store and pre-order at that time. I can't wait any more.
how do i declare a holiday in FFCC:MLAAK? I'm on day 150 something and on chapter 4 but I've obviously skipped throught the instructions to declare holidays. thanks.
there r no enemies there except for the black blobs, the whistle ball wont break the gate when i use vortex and throw it abd i have no idea how fruit could open a gate
I just got the vortex power from the mines, but I am hopelessly stuck on how to get out. I've gotten to the part where that "whistle ball" is locked behind two doors and I need to get it out to break the big crystals blocking the exit. However, I'm only given one boulder to break the two doors and the boulder breaks after one door, so I'm stuck. Please help, i only have one save point and don't want to restart the whole game because there is no other way out that I can see from where I've saved unless I solve this puzzle. I can't find a walkthrough online.
thanks for the info. I already checked and all my ps2 games will work on the 80gb. I was just checking to see if its okay to get rid of my mem cards and controllers and multitap, etc. Thanks
I'm getting ready to buy the new 80gb PS3 and am going to sell my ps2 for a little extra cash. I'm just wondering if there is anything I should keep if I intend to play some of my older ps2/ps1 games on the new ps3. Do I need to keep my memory cards or can I save my ps2/ps1 games to the ps3 hard-drive. also do the new ps3 dualshocks work to play ps2/ps1 games? If the answer is no to these then I'm just gonna sell my ps2, all the controllers, and memory cards, but keep the games. Thanks
Does anyone else think it would have made a lot more sense to let you see the various videos of games for download on wiiware and VC while shopping for them on the shop channel? Its kinda frustrating that i'm shopping, see a VC game, try to look at the 2 tiny pictures of more info and then have to either go to my computer to see more about the game or close the shop channel and open up the nintendo channel. Just seems inefficient.
