i just came across it. I was thinking of jungle strike and desert strike. These were great games. I'd love to see them come on wii's virtual console or remade on a new system.
I'm trying to remember the name of a series of games I used to love on the genesis. It was a top down/slightly angled view where you flew a helicopter around various battlefields. I remember having to stop over various buldings, lower a hook to get crates and items and then transport things to other locations all while being shot at and shooting at other people. They were great fun and I don't think I've come across any games with a similar style on any new systems. Thanks.
I seem to remember various reviews saying boom blox had over 300 levels or something. Well, Where are they? I've medaled in all the single player categories and have unlocked the expert levels, but there doesn't seem to be that many expert or pro levels to make up 300. And it still says I've only completed 10% of the game. What do you have to do to unlock everything else and get 100%?
its kinda weird cuz i don't remember it happening when i first got the game and played for several hours. Although I think I might have just been playing the throwing games where its unnoticeable. I think its mostly happening with the grab tool games. I wonder if it has something to do with holding the A button down for so long since I pull out blocks so slow and meticulously.
I was playing boom blox last night and started to notice that quite freqently something would happen to the positioning of the wiimote on screen. What i mean is is that when I was pointing the wiimote straight at the tv, the cursor was tilted 45 degrees. So, when I pointed to the top of the screen the cursor would go left. If I paused the game or took out the wiimote batteries the problem resolved, but only temporarily. The batteries are brand new and full charged. Has this happended to anyone else, or does anyone have suggestions?
yes they can. I got a couple extra dungeons (the ones to get more specialized adventurers) but by the time I did I already had hired the maximum number of adventurers and couldn't hire the new guys. I wish there was a way to fire the old ones.
I don't like them either and haven't used them since I ordered them on-line. They make the wiimote feel too big and my hand really sweats with them. The 3rd party wiimote skins are better, but I still think they are unnecessary. I just got the Nyko charge station which makes using the covers unreasonable, but the new wiimote backs that came with the charge station have some grip pads to them which are nice.
