did you try the yellow dog forums? I might be wrong but I dont think you'll get much of a response here. But hey, I could be wrong.slimdog363
I dont think you're wrong, but hey i could be wrong.
I didnt read all the pages (just the first and the last). So none of you had a problem staying alive with that AoE weapon (that thing you throw around and does weak dmg and makes you very vulnerable?). Well obviously I didnt die (ehm.. hush), but did any of you feel that it was too weak and made you way too vulnerable?
Other than that I felt the game was good and I played the game without checkin out the controls without finding out what the buttons X and O was for (afaik O was for grappling stuff, but didnt always work :S). Though other than that I think the demo was quite awsome. BEAUTIFUL atmosphere, cool combos (though i didnt know what I did most of the time), easy to play and hard to master. Luv it.
Yep you can play God Of War for backward compatible status check http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/CompatibleStatus
Regarding exclusives, someone will probably fill u inn. I gotta go, sorry man. On the top of my head MGS 4, GT5, FFXIII and Tekken 6 is all exclusives and is sequels to popular franchises. Though none of those gonna come this year.
sad to say but
Lair (it's almost all about shooting fireballs, or thats what imma predict we're gonna do 90% of the time)
Heavenly Sword (I like to like it but truth is I see a woman with three different easily-switchable weapons, how long will it take before i get sick of the three weapons. I predict not very long at least not for me)
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (although I like this one, it seemed like there was a lot of unbalanced stuff. Like how the aiming of the weapon suck and did little dmg while close-combat did a lot. A bit sceptical about the controls too, I've yet to see a gameplay movie in which someone controls the character smoothly)
Assassin's Creed (although I'll probably get this game it will be mostly for the storyline. I hear the controls are awful and in the end it's all about kill this guy and run through the crowd)
Uhm I'm pretty sure Kojima said this is going to be HIS
last MGS game, but not necessarily the last MGS game. In fact he said he would be the producer to any future MGS games. In other words he himself is not gonna design/direct any future MGS titles he's just gonna watch people do it and then say "i dont like that" or "do it this way" if he feels like it.
Other than that sure they might be a Metal Gear Raiden or a Metal Gear . I wonder though, why does snake look so old while meryl still look young.
It seems like I've misunderstood a part of this. You see my PS3 is on the way (shipping as we speak) and I've never personally tried it. It sounds like you have the option to use the motion sensing and that the game does not require you to use it in which case I agree that it can only be a positive thing. However when I wrote the original post I thought that you had no other choice but to play the game with the motion sensing if it was available. In that case I don't see why the reviewers usually bash these games for having a optional feature, they never (or at least usually dont) mention that it's optional either.
Please confirm/correct me on this. I'm still a little confused.
So after hearing about how a few ps3 reviews/previews it sounds like Warhawk and Lair is the only games that the sixaxis works great with. While it sounds like the rest of the games is being "forced" to find something to use it (motion sensing) with. I've yet to try it out for myself so I'm still a bit excited but it seems like in the reviews/previews on gamespot they usually say that the motion sensing feature on this and that game (example. Ninja Gaiden Sigma) was no good, BUT then if the game DOESN'T have motion sensing they still loose points.
So in other words. Games who does have it gets lower score for bad use and those who doesn't have it gets lower because they didn't use it. With the exception of Warhawk and Lair it sounds like the motion sensing is/was a bad idea.
And i'll be really sad if they start to use motion sensing in each and every game just because they feel like they have to (imagine street fighter, where you gotta move the controller to jump, just took the worst situation i could find). What do you think?
