okay thats good then so i can still atleast get some use out of this raptor....sooo how would i make the raptor be the one that uses the operating system? is choosing the harddrive gonna be an option when i download the OS

sorry if this is a stupid question...but this is my first time building a comp and to save money a friend gave me two hard drives and i just wanted to know if they would work together as raid 0 and if its hard to set up that way..

these are the two hard drives he gave me

oh nvm then il just go with the ati..and haha yeah i meant 4890 also if im getting the i7 and not overclocking it..the stock fan will be fine right? haha this is my last question i swear

With taxes it's $1133.52. I picked the 850W PSU because it's enough to power 2 GTX 275's if he wants SLI in the future.

If you want ATI instead, you can get the 4890 for $194.99. The GTX 275 and 4890 are nearly identical in terms of performance, just the 275 has PhysX and CUDA.

wow thanks, i didnt know about that combo thing..that will deff save me some money..and whats the physx and CUDA? anything worth getting over the ATI

as for the graphics card i am already getting a good enough gpu..the radeon hd 1890...i heard the i7 might be better for futureproofing
