@topgun182: Have you ever been paid as a professional esports competitor? No? Filthy casual!

Haha just kidding, clearly your ability to consider the opinions of people other than yourself is what makes you a casual.

@HOLYSHMUCK: To be honest I think their definition of gamer must be pretty broad to include 23% percent who have never heard of a PS4 but being a gamer is predicated on playing games, not keeping up with industry news like consoles that aren't even out yet.

Just because many Gamespot readers can name every single console ever released & every major GPU manufacturer, I wouldn't expect every single person who has picked up a Playstation controller at a friend's house or downloaded Candy Crush while sitting on the bus to be able to name all the current offerings.

Being a "gamer" isn't some kind of badge of pride to be earned. It's just a description of a person who plays games sometimes.

@NeonicTrash: Either one will play the games. Why market the "Pro" model to the general audience? Market the brand & let the retailer try to upsell them.

That's probably their strategy.

@mk64: Yeah, imagine Drivers who aren't aware of every single car manufacturer & model. Ha! They wouldn't be drivers at all!

@lion2447: Maybe they classify slot machines as "gaming".

@Barighm: I had a few crashes, mostly from trying to access the Strike Team console. The game ran incredibly smoothly on my PC though. There are still a number of bugs but as least it performed well.

@Archangel3371: Yeah, I think they get a lot of flak unfairly. It was full of problems & poor game design decisions but it was still fun & compelling to play. It just doesn't compare well to the games that came before it or some of the other amazing games that released around the same time.

@lukasr: More time isn't what it needed. Better talent would have helped & it's problems were ingrained from the ground up.

I still think it was a good game. It had problems but it wasn't terrible.

@iammcgruber: If you enjoyed the Dragon Age series then there's definitely some stuff you'll like in Mass Effect. I would recommend going back & playing 1 through 3 before Andromeda though, if you can live with the older graphics, they're far better games. Andromeda is still worth playing - just not before the others.
