Yet another example of why scores are meaningless. I would think a game would have to exceed expectations to get a score that high. Simple remaking an old arcade game & not screwing it up seems like a low threshold.
@dreadborne: I can play most new AAA games at 1440P 70+fps with ultra settings. If I turned a few settings down I could certainly get 4K 30fps. With two 970s I'm starting to hit up against VRAM limits for ultra textures in some new games but otherwise I get performance similar to a single 980Ti.
Racing games like Forza are notoriously easy to run which is why every new console launches with a shiny new racer to show off graphics. Forza might run at 60fps but I highly doubt you'll see a game like Ghost Recon: Wildlands running anywhere near that on the X1X.
My PC is almost 2 years old & it's more powerful than the X1X which isn't out yet. It looks like it's going to be a decent machine, certainly more powerful than any current consoles but let's not throw around terms like "high-end" when comparing it to PC hardware.
@robbehG: Maybe they'll just give you a phone with literal google maps. Far Cry 2 had a map you had to bring up in game - a good way to crash your car.
It makes sense that the area should be mapped out, it's not some foreign land. However if they can get rid of all the little icons that flood your view, then it might be nice to find things more organically.
OK they've got enemy tagging, random animal attacks & animal companions but what I really want from Ubisoft: The Game is hacking minigames outside the animus. And a remote control buggy, I want a remote control buggy.
