I think the game development industry on a whole suffers from bipolar disorder. Vince a few years back on Titanfall's lack of single player.
"WE MAKE THESE SINGLE-PLAYER MISSIONS THAT TAKE UP ALL THE FOCUS OF THE STUDIO, THAT TAKE A HUGE TEAM SIX MONTHS TO MAKE, AND PLAYERS RUN THROUGH IT IN EIGHT MINUTES. AND HOW MANY PEOPLE FINISH THE SINGLE-PLAYER GAME? IT’S A SMALL PERCENTAGE. IT’S LIKE, EVERYONE PLAYS THROUGH THE FIRST LEVEL, BUT 5% OF PEOPLE FINISH THE GAME."
Please provide those "many many" explanations that are the exact opposite of completion.
From what I can tell, Epic is undercutting Valve...plain and simple. When I have something on ebay I really want move quickly, I undercut usually the cheapest seller to move my item.
Do I make the most on my sale? no...but I move my item usually sells in hours. You need to either provide some detail as to why this isn't competition or you need to brush up on some business practices.
Personally I don't care...Epic has always been one of my favorite Developers since the UT days.
When the Pre-Sequel released I declared it was a re-skinned BL2, however most argued it was a totally new game, complete with "Butt Slamming" and Low Gravity.
Now that BL3 is upon us and I'm hearing re-skinned BL2, has the gaming community finally caught on?
Played Metro 2033...hated the AI and eventually ran out of ammo stuck in some tunnel. Maybe I'll pick it up again one day, I'd prefer to play through the entire series.
