I've had my PS3 since Feb 07 and STILL haven't gotten it connected online! I think my ISP is the problem, but I may have a bad ethernet port (hope this isn't the case, but I don't know how to test this on a PS3). I'm supposed to use a password when configuring my DSL connection on the PS3, but I can never get it to connect. I'm more inclined to blame Verizon than the hardware. I may have to put more effort into this. The more I think about it, the more I'm starting to yearn for some online play.

As that Sony lies thread has shown, Sony has made some supremely arrogant and wrong claims about the performance and capabilities of the PS3. Sony has screwed their console buyers time and time again. The games are flopping at an epic proportion (Heavenly Sword? LAIR??? etc...). And the market is responding to Sony's mess by poor sales. It simply costs way too much. Yet I come to system wars, and PS3 people are defending the PS3 like people are talking badly about their grandmother. All that "Sony Lies" thread shows is that the bulk of Lemmings don't know what a lie really is. I defend Sony because they provide a quality gaming experience.
