That game is what got me hooked onto RTS games and also my favorite RTS game. I have so many memories of playing that game on my PC and xbox 360 and i am so sad that the servers are shut down and now they will probably never be another LOTR RTS(BFME3?).

Anyone else miss this game?

I've re-installed picviewer2012.exe, I've changed browsers and even went on my brothers mac to see if it was an OS issue. Pics still aren't loading.mingmao3046

my grandpaw is 75 years old and Bill Murray looks older than him, and Bill Murray is only 62. I have seen a couple of his movies when he was young and i just found a picture on the internet of him right now and he looks like he is atleast 75 years old.

I mean Chuck freakin Norris is 70 years old and looks WAY younger than Bill Murray!

Even look at Arnold **** and EVEN Sylvester Stallon who are like what? 65 or 66 years old and look tremendously better than Bill.

Am i missing somthing

I am a softmore in Highschool and next semester i am taking Biology,Geometry,BCA1, and Survey of Arts. Seems like other schools you'll be taking these classes when your a freshmen in HS and ALSO have offer AP classes for them too, while my school does NOT offer any AP classes till im a Jr. Will this hender my college potential?

I know this is a dumb question but i want to go too a decent college that is good for computer engineering and i want to prepare myself the best i can and take the most/hardest Science and math classes i can in highschool but i seems like i am limited becuase of my school.

I live in Louisiana so the school "Standards" might be set lower than other states(lol) and when im a Sr. in highschool i will only have reached MAYBE advanced math/pre cal and physics. This seems late considering all the time i hear people in HS saying they take all AP classes and Blah blah and are in AP calculas in 11th or 12th grade blah blah ect..

becuase i like to keep my things i DON"T take for granted in good shape and keep them clean while she treats her computer, phone, ipod, everything she has like crap.

Also she sais that keeping my things clean combined with my concentrating problems in school makes me a mental person and that i need mental help lol.

Is this true? Is one simply mental and need metal help if they are an organised person and keeps everything in good shape and have consentrating problems?

Or does this just describe who and how i am and that some people think you are crazy if they are different from you?

To be honest, the best college is the one where you will succeed. If you are a better hands on learner a good college for you wil be different than the best school for someone who is better at the theoritical stuff. Find a college where you fit and can succeed, not one based on rankings.

I had Computer Science/Computer Engineering internships at Google, Intel and Microsoft with numerous offers at other place (and am currently at Microsoft) coming out of the University of Colorado (which is ranked #39 in Computer Science) with an Electrical and Computer Engineering Degree. I beat out hundreds of students from Stanford, MIT, CMU, Berkley, Waterloo (Some of the best Computer Science/Engineering Schools) to get these internships, many of which had better grades than I did. I got these positions because Colorado has a ton of oppritunities for students to get involved in Research and Projects, providing hands on experience that most people didn't have.

Yep. Basically, it doesn't matter so much as which college you go to as to what you do in college. There are tons of engineering schools around the US that will essentially offer the same education. Some will be "ranked" higher than others, but in the end, rank means nothing if you don't take advantage of opportunities. And not to mention, the rankings are determined by GRADUATE programs, not undergraduate. No one will care if you have a BS from a small state college if you have a PhD from Duke. Obviously, I have been very vague. I can tell you some well know universities, but you need to look into this yourself. Think about where you want to live and where the companies you want to work for are located. And then make a decision. The best areas to find jobs, internships, etc. will be California and the southeast. California obviously has the Universities of California, Stanford, and whatnot. The southeast has Georgia Tech, Duke, NC State, Virginia Tech, Maryland, etc. There are also some good schools in the north, like Michigan, Illinois, obviously MIT, Northwestern, Cornell. My advice is unless you think it is a very good opportunity, save some money and stick to a above-average, but not very highly ranked, public school for undergrad and then move to a private school for graduate school. You can't go wrong with Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, NC State (which is where I go), UCA, etc. It isn't extremely hard to get into these schools. If you can get a GPA of about 4.5 and take Calculus and some physics classes in high school you will be able to get into almost every single public school in the country. So yeah, my advice is to make sure you get calculus taken care of in high school. It also gets you an entire year ahead in math once you go to college. As for the ACT, if you are smart, you will do fine on it. Study of course, and take it as many times as you need to get a good score. They only take your best score, remember. If available as well, you can take the SAT and any subject tests. Don't stress too hard. If you have an ounce of intelligence you can get into a state university for engineering ranked in the top 50 and go from there.

4.5?

First i would like to say i am vietnamese and i am a softmore in highschool. I go to a really small school so thay don't even offer ANY ap classes till i am a Jr.(next year). I make about all A's and maybe one B(becuase of the teacher-she is VERY old and mean). I havn't taken ACT test yet,but i take it next year.

Oh and my father's dad graduated from MIT, but i dont see myself going there lol.

I love computers and technology and i want to go too a good college for computer software engineering.

So far since my school is VERY small and dont have many teachers and options for me to take, so i am taking math/science classes that other schools have tooken since 7th or 8th grade.

What classes should i try to take and get too before i graduate HS(even if it involves doing it online) and what is a good college for computer engineering?

I think i am pretty smart but it is the school i go to that is not getting me prepared for college. For instance i am a softmore and im FINALY taking geometry when i should have probably taken that class like 2 years ago. Also this year i am taking biology and next year i hope to be in AP chemistry.

Also what are somethings to help me learn math and help me prepare for the ACT test i have to take next year?
