Call it a hunch.

I don't think I actually know much about you! =o What do you have to get up early for? Do you work? (If I may ask) *Gets all up in y0 business*

DigitalExile

Sadly no I don't work, finding a job is going horribly. There are lots of people in the same boat here (the U.S.) but that doesn't make it any easier. Thank God bf works or we'd be in trouble. I wake up early-ish now because I'm starting to exercise a little bit. And I'm hoping to start volunterring soonish as another way to keep busy.

Didn't you say a long while back that you had an interview with an insurance company or something like that? How'd that go?ExoticAnimal

Ha oh yea! What an interview. I was fuming after it and wrote a long venting email to my friend. A few highlights (which I recall because I'd never been thru anything like it before):
-the guy ignored me and didn't start our interview until about 20 minutes after the scheduled time
-he tells me he didn't read my resume but after skimming it doesn't see any relevant experience
-he did literally 95% of the talking, I might as well have not been there
-he got mad when I questioned their pay rate discrepancy (which I didn't feel was inappropriate given that he brought it up) which is probably why he wouldn't even call me afterwards to tell me I wasn't getting the job.

:P How's that?
It's been slow going since then.

It's a long long long, almost imaginary (if not actually), ways off for me , so... we'll see. >.> You'll be the first to know! =p

What else you up to?

DigitalExile

Nothing imaginary, you just wait. I don't know why everyone writes themselves off so early in life.

I might try to go to sleep soon because I'm trying to get up at a decent hour nowadays. It's so hard though. Other than that just watching tv.

That's how guys show they care! =)

DigitalExile

How freakin' romantic.
And I don't think your idea of a proposal is bad as long as that's the kind of thing your gf would like. It certainly doesn't have to be a big production but it should at least take her feelings and tastes into account.

I'm tired of thinking about this stuff.

I hate having to ask for everything! He asks why I seem upset and I'm like eh I just wanted some alone time or attention or something. He's like you could have asked you know. Asking defeats the whole purpose of it though!Sunsha

Exactly! They say they want to spend time with you or whatnot but they don't make the effort to. And if you really want something you'll go ahead and do it. So why don't they go ahead and do it without being pressured??

Bf's idea of romance is sometimes rinsing his dishes when he sometimes puts them in the sink. And keeping my computer running well. I'm a lucky gal. :P

You could ask him? :Pchaoscougar1

Technically sure :P but being the pain that I am, I'd like some kind of romantic gesture from him. Such things are few and far between nowadays so it would mean a lot to me.

It's ok. Guess I was a little too direct with that question. How long have you guys been together? Maybe you could give him hints if you think he's truly the one. Never done pilates before so wouldn't know but i've done some yoga from a P-90X workout and it was quite challenging. I say give it a shot and see if you like it or not.ExoticAnimal

We've been together 7 years and he knows exactly what I want (thought I knew what he wanted too). It's just a matter of him actually asking and if he won't, what do I do then? Hopefully I won't have to think about that too hard. That'd be awful.

I don't really like jewelry anyway I guess. =pSunsha

You what....? That doesn't compute in my brain. :P I'm a jewelry (and otherwise all around) nut. Is it just not your thing or haven't you seen much jewelry you like?

Are you trying to say that you want to break up with him?ExoticAnimal

No. Just frustrated and confused a bit, sorry. I'm very happy overall! No more party pooping from me.

I'm trying a pilates/yoga cIass tomorrow. Think it's worth it?

Looking at rings you don't have.Sunsha

I keep dreaming one day I'll be able to get a spectacular ring so this is just research. I like to know what I like. At this rate I'll be buying myself a ring because bf is dead in the water.

Yep, I like to punish myself.
