As mentioned, Skyward Sword used it very well. Red Steel 2 also used motionplus controls pretty well. For males playing these games, I'd advise that you be aware of what height you hold the controls at when you're swinging them around, as the wire between the wiimote and nunchuck sometimes whip around and the result may be quite unpleasant. Trust me.

If they were doing a reboot, there'd be more creativity in pushing Blood Omen into the 3rd dimension. Of course Soul Reaver was a whole lot more popular, so it would probably draw more hype. I don't know how they could change the voice acting for that series without breaking anyone's heart.

Maybe there is a god. :o

An "elder god" perhaps?

I'm a 1 pillow guy myself but sometimes fantasize about going to bed with 2 or more at a time.
What kind of question is this? Who asks that? judog1
In the Healthcare setting this question is asked as a symptom of heart failure (person needs to sleep propped up on multiple pillows to breathe easy, they cannot breathe or feel like they're drowning when lying flat).

My 6 year old was real upset when he found out great-grandma died at an older age than great-grandpa. Started crying and saying he wished he was a girl. I told him "Hey don't tell mom this so she doesn't feel bad but we boys can pee standing up, girls need to sit when they go." Crying stops replaced by little enlightened smile, father-son bond strengthened, Male pride restored. Boys: be proud to be boys, Girls: be proud to be girls. Admire the difference instead of envying. Support the other sex but be proud of your own as neither is better/worse but rather each is complementary to the other.

Always confusing when this topic comes up because of the subjectivity of the "hardcore gamer" term. Do you mean gamers that prefer... 1.) Games with ramped up technical difficulty? I guess there are games like that on Wii, i've heard DKCR has some particularly tough challenges. 2.) More blood, guts and general violence in their games? Games like Mad World and No More Heroes are this type. 3.) A special snobby weird niche of gaming? Some games tried pretty different things on the Wii, like that Silent Hill as a more popular example. 4.) Traditional themes and control schemes? It does have virtual console for reliving the classics. 5.) The HD graphics and future-tech? Ok, the Wii loses out there. 6.) A lot more games? Well, with lack of 3rd party support for anything other than fitness games and minigame collections, the Wii again loses here

Can't really say "sales aside." Wii did a revolutionary change to the gaming market by pulling in people who would have been absolute non-gamers. That's a revolutionary change to the video game industry.

It isn't easy but it isn't impossible. You have already taken the first step needed, which is identify that it has gotten out of hand. Good for you! As others have said, keeping yourself busy with other things will definitely move you forward in your goal. And set solid boundaries/limits for yourself. You could turn it into a game, and log your achievements along the way, but obviously don't reward yourself with anything directly video game related. As you rack up those achievements, it would probably get a bit easier. The moment you feel yourself slipping, take a breath or go for a walk, snap out of it and get back in control again. If you feel you need help with the problem, ask friends or family, maybe by having them as partners in whatever activity you've chosen to keep busy. Good luck!

Winner for me would be Fallout. as I really enjoyed the mix of post apocalyptic future setting and 50's Retro vibe, with all sorts of little side joke references to modern culture (most prominent in Fallout2) . Runners up: Deus Ex series- loved the cool cyberpunk + gov't conspiracy stuff Diablo series - its gothic tone and holy war premise were very unique System Shock 2 - little details here and there added quite a bit of depth and made that lonely spaceship seem like a huge, previously populated world. and it had SHODAN.
