Think of it like doing an alien autopsy in XCom. The Flu shot gives your natural defense mechanisms a chance to study the enemy, so it knows what to defend against, and doesn't get caught with it's pants down when you encounter someone who is carrying and shedding the flu virus (not always symptomatic). And when you reach that immunity, you are not a carrier. This puts elderly people, infants and the immunocompromised a lot less at risk when in contact with you. The shot is not a live virus but rather dead pieces of the virus, so it does not infect you. The nasal spray vaccine IS a live neutered virus. In the XCom analogy this would be more like a captured alien. That one has a risk of infecting the local nasal tissue, but is too weak to cause a full-blown infection. The main advantage of the nasal spray is that it does not have any egg component so it won't trigger allergic reactions to those allergic to eggs. The bad part is that it cannot cover all strains, but rather is targeted to the one that, based on analysis is most probably going to be the most rampant strain for the year's flu season. However, that is no excuse to skip something that confers benefit with practically no risk. Fear of needles is a far better excuse, weak as it is.

Lower pricepoint and seeming durability are in its favor but I still don't see it being ergonomic because of the combination of: same width and thickness as original 3DS+same length as a fully opened 3DS+ higher button placement+shoulder buttons on top I tried to experiment by flipping my 3DS upside down, then trying to hold it as if the shoulder buttons were on top and I were playing a game. Holding it vertical in front, you'd have to grip it by resting it on your lower palms and putting pressure. This is uncomfortable. But not doing this lets the unit slip downwards between your hands putting said durability to the test. Holding it horizontally, lessens this but still has you applying that pressure to the wrist/lower palm area when you press the shoulder buttons. I'd definitely wait to feel how it grips in store samples or something before going out to get one.

If I recall correct, one of the promising concept aspects of the original Xbox One plan of having a system perpetually connected online was that they were hoping to use it in the racing game, to collect human players driving patterns and have the AI mimic those. Maybe it isn't exactly true reactive AI, but it did sound less predictable/zombie-like.

...because it's more fun and profitable to stir up a witch-hunt frenzy against something rather than to convince adults to be responsible adults.

Texas sucks, man..................

you're probably not from Texas, but Texas wants you anyway. Seriously though @op, if you're moving down here, I suggest you have a decent job prospect before you get here, work hard at it when you do get here. I moved down here last year from the Northeast, and do notice most folks here 1.) work just as hard, 2.) are a bit less cautious, and 3.) speak a bit louder. And if you're seriously considering moving here, I hope you are able to tolerate country music.

Trying to wait patiently for tomorrow, so I can pick my copy up from my apartment manager's office.

I have never really gotten into this franchise, but the game sounds very interesting. I may consider getting it after a finish Emblem, RE: Revelations, and 999.

I suggest you get a copy (either physical or E-shop) of SMT IV by August to avail of the $30 E-shop credit, if you've already registered your copy of Fire Emblem.

Fallout 2. "War. War Never Changes." Definitely one of the best. The first Half-life opening was awesome for it's time because it was one of the first where you were actually in-game during the introduction sequence. The original Resident Evil 1 intro movie is so bad, it's good.

No plans to buy a WiiU til the price goes down and the sizes of the game-library and user-base go up. I am happy with my 3DS and looking forward to the upcoming titles (quite a bunch announced for this year alone), so I can wait for that WiiU price drop.

I've heard tell of two different Monster Hunter 4 bundles supposedly coming in Sept, one black one white and pictures of both look real nice. If and where they'll be released, though, is another story.

My 3DS (regular size) strains my hands and eyes when I play it. But I love the way it looks, it's the blue fire emblem edition, so all pain caused is forgiven. If I was in the market to buy a 3DS now, I'd most probably get the 3DSXL.
