i googled some of the code and got some results:

this guy has somewhat of the same problem and proposed solutions included updating BIOS, reinstalling video drivers, and taking programs out of startup. i would go with looking your mobo up and updating any and all drivers for it.

also, if you havn't you might check your event viewer and/or make a copy of the dmp file mentioned as it will reference the actual cause. i don't know how to work with it personally, but i know it's possible.

good luck

so i ordered 2 3870s from best buy exactly 2 days ago and some odd hours. at the time it said it was in stock, and stayed "in stock" for the next day. then it went out of stock, a full day later.

when i paid, it told me it was processing and the estimated arrival date was 11/30 - 12/5. exciting right? 2 days later, aka: today, i get an email saying, Oh sorry, it's on backorder. we estimate it will take 1-2 weeks to ship.

talk about a letdown. i feel like i am also paying for shipping that i didnt agree to. am i right?

what would you do?

Just don't hit absolute zero and you'll be fine.

actually, in theory, if you got a processor to absolute zero, it could run "infinitely" fast. the paradox is that to hit absolute zero, you have to stop time, or more correctly, reaching absolute zero would in TURN stop time. but this can't be true if time doesn't flow.

Actually, No. It doesn't stop time. Where did you see this "theory". But it doesn't matter because it is impossible to achieve because of the second law of thermodynamics.

well what is absolute zero but the absence of all energy. all matter to stop moving. i guess i was mistaken to say that reaching it would stop time, but stopping time is still the only way within our reach (due to 2nd law of thermodynamics) to keep any matter from moving entirely.

random rant, no one has to read this:
i figure, if time didn't flow there would be no energy and at every moment we would technically be at absolute zero, but since we know we aren't, we know it's not perfectly still. time could, in a sense, flow, but like a river, not a hose. with a river, you know where it came from and where it will go, but it's not standing still, just as i view time. then, reaching absolute zero could be possible, but how do you freeze one section of a river while it's running? and as i always say at the end of a rant, there's always the good chance than none of this applies whatsoever

put some salt in the liquid. that'll lower it's freezing point.

[QUOTE="blazethe1"]the only hard part is not dropping the mobo when putting it in the case lol. putting the cpu in and hooking up PSU wires are cake.death1505921

First time installations always make me edgy :)

I think I could probably do it with a decent walkthrough. But hard part is accsessing that when my computers down :P

i never saw a walkthrough, just open up your computer and look around. don't force anything and don't touch stuff on any chip boards, but just look at what goes where.

on a side note this is my 1000th post :)

i hav a 7600gts, its about the equivalent of a 7600gt.

no. i bought this as a cheap card to tide me over until a good dx10 card a year ago. it wont perform satisfactory with CoD4. go for a 3850 or a 7950 if you're on a budget.
