Am i right in thinking that ifa usb of flash ram say 1 gig is treated as extra ram by vista ?1reeper

some of them work. supposedly youre supposed to use at least twice whats in your pc already or something like that, to a max of 4X. mine doesn't work. i don't know which ones do.

i wouldnt take it for free. mostly because i don't have much room. i guess i would take the HD out, maybe the cd drive and donate the rest.

almost all ram has a lifetime warrenty. ocz covers them even if you overclock them i think.

well he's already ordered a new card. but yeah, it sounds like it got too hot, but didn't quite fry. if it fried you would be getting the RGB test on your monitor. so what card did you get?
